Description
Story Quest DirectoryStory Quests are Main Events converted to Quests after their initial run. They give newcomers and anyone who didn't have a chance previously to get in on the main story line and catch up to the others in their own time.
Rules:
1.) You MUST have a completed reference sheet submitted into the group before you may start any Story Quests
2.) These quests are intended to be done in separate pictures; do not combine the individual quests please!
3.) If the quest is a Combo quest it will be stated as such when posted
4.) All Quest Submissions must be at least flat colour and fully lined in order to earn points. WIPS and lineart will not be counted.
5.) All Quests MUST contain a written portion. 6-8 sentences that give us the basic beginning, middle and end will suffice, but don't let that stop you from writing more! We love to read!
5.) Pixel art and bases ARE allowed for Story Quests so long as proper credit is given and pixel art MUST be your own.

Story Quest 14: Revenge and Reinforcements!***First Run Date is now over!! This Event is now a "NEVER" end date for 1 Crystal Point***+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++"Heeeeere Senshi, Senshi, Senshiiii," the words echoed through the streets with a sinister laugh, "Come out, come out wherever you arrrre!" Cassiterite Cockatrice sauntered down the street, lips twisted in a vile grin as she watched the pedestrians run screaming from her winged form. She didn't even bother with attacking them, a slight "BOO!" was all that was needed to send them into a fear laden frenzy. And it smelled glorious. Though she did have roughly two dozen of these pathetic humans following behind her. Their eyes were dull and glazed as they walked, various makeshift weapons in hand. Each and every one of them was completely under her control, just waiting for her to give the word and attack. Her tail, long, spiked and brand new, whipped back and forth, the jagged crystals tearing deep gashes in stone and metal alike. A car swerved to avoid her, instead crashing into the corner of a brick building just off to her left. It was chaos, beautiful, beautiful chaos and she reveled in it. Now, all she had to do was find those stupid, simpering, crystalline children. She would tear them apart, one by one, and she would bathe in their tears and blood. And that one who took her sister, oh, she would make that one suffer the longest."Heeeeeeere Senshi, Senshi, Senshi! Come and get me!" she called out once more before turning on a mass of hysteric children and their teacher, flashing her claws and roaring as she hypnotized them as well.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Cassiterite Cockatrice is on a one woman rampage it would seem! She is tracking down each senshi, bent entirely on revenge! And it seems she's come with a new look, and new slew of powers! Between Cockatrice and her army of humans, this fight seems too much for one person. What's a senshi to do?! Hey wait, who is this new person who just showed up out of nowhere? And why are they wearing such strange clothes?Objective: Battle Cassiterite Cockatrice and save the humans she has hypnotized. Wow, is she ever brutal this time around! Do you best to stay alive until help arrives, but who is coming? A new ally!! It looks like you've finally met your own counterpart Knight, and they're here to help you with this Joker! The two of you manage to beat her back, but at the last minute, true to form, Cassiterite Cockatrice gets away! This story happens over a period of time so that every senshi has their own separate encounter. You MAY choose to include other senshi in your piece, but if you are collabing, please make sure all parties involved do equal work. Just Written Entries ARE ALLOWED!! Celeste heard the call to arm herself against an enemy and transformed, teleporting to where Cassiterite Cockatrice was located. Leaping into action, true to form, Starling dashed in recklessly, fists pumped and ready to tackle Cassiterite Cockatrice... but the enemy was very fast and dodged out of the way at every punch. Cupping her hands over her mouth, Starling let out a shriek towards Cassiterite Cockatrice who blocked it with ease. Running out of options, Starling once again darted forward, but this time was knocked by by a sharp kick to the gut from Cassiterite Cockatrice...
A strange feeling came over Starling as she started to get back up. Looking to her left, she noticed a boy by her side and her stomach started to feel better. An oddly familiar voice filled her mind suddenly, "I will shield you. Attack from behind me." With that, the boy got up, and wielding a quarterstaff, he called forth the very barrier that Starling herself used. Questions filled Starling's head, but first she had to deal with the enemy. Charging up behind him, Starling leapt into the air and grabbed the staff for leverage, launched herself at Cassiterite Cockatrice again, this time slamming a fist directly into her cheek. As Cassiterite Cockatrice reeled up and readied a counterattack, the boy dashed in-between the two and called forth another barrier. As Cassiterite Cockatrice was knocked back from the force of the barrier, Starling again used the staff as leverage and launched herself forward, landing another blow to Cassiterite Cockatrice.
Cassiterite Cockatrice, who seemed to have had enough for the moment, fled the scene. The boy recalled the barrier and smiled at Starling, "Well well, if it isn't Celeste, daring as ever." Starling's mind let out a howl realizing who came to her aid... Jacob, the very person she hated most at school was her knight. Jacob smirked a little, "Guess we will have to figure out a way to ... be partners." Starling stared in disbelief, not knowing what to do or say, and certainly not wanting to give him a 'thank you' for helping her defeat Cassiterite Cockatrice...
