Description
Story Quest DirectoryStory Quests are Main Events converted to Quests after their initial run. They give newcomers and anyone who didn't have a chance previously to get in on the main story line and catch up to the others in their own time.
Rules:
1.) You MUST have a completed reference sheet submitted into the group before you may start any Story Quests
2.) These quests are intended to be done in separate pictures; do not combine the individual quests please!
3.) If the quest is a Combo quest it will be stated as such when posted
4.) All Quest Submissions must be at least flat colour and fully lined in order to earn points. WIPS and lineart will not be counted.
5.) All Quests MUST contain a written portion. 6-8 sentences that give us the basic beginning, middle and end will suffice, but don't let that stop you from writing more! We love to read!
5.) Pixel art and bases ARE allowed for Story Quests so long as proper credit is given and pixel art MUST be your own.

Oh gosh, this took far longer to decide than I'd anticipated! I am so sorry my babes!! It was just such a hard choice! Every single entry was amazing in it's own right, and we waffled between a couple of them for several days, reading and re-reading them to figure out what we felt worked best, not only as a whole story on it's own, but worked well with the overall plot.
And so, without further ado, our winner, and official canon take down of Bastinite Basilisk is:

Also, we just want to throw out
Celeste was still on cloud nine from the unexpected visit with Peridot Mantis when she heard of the attack in Honolulu... She transformed and raced with her sisters there, and she quickly saw and engaged Bastnasite Basilisk. All her training amounted to this. She felt ready!
The encounter was anything but brief. Starling used her protective powers to aid her sisters who were fighting head on, giving them a shield to protect from Bastnasite Basilisk's attacks. Whenever an opportunity presented itself, she would cup her hand near her mouth and let out a shattering shriek before re-upping her barrier. Finally, she got her chance tho! It was just her and Bastnasite Basilisk. Starling used her Unicorn Hide ability and charged in, fists flying! She struck once, twice, and then was knocked over by a tail-sweep from Bastnasite Basilisk. Then she remembered her training with Sapphire Swan, and as Bastnasite Basilisk set to attack her again, Starling flew up and shrieked back down at her! As Bastnasite Basilisk was trying to recover, Starling pulled a Sapphire Swan and grabbed Bastnasite Basilisk, kneeing her in the back and then flying back up away from her again. Some of her other senshi sisters saw their opportunity now, and Starling lit up her barrier for them as she glided safely in the sky...
