Story Quest DirectoryStory Quests are Main Events converted to Quests after their initial run. They give newcomers and anyone who didn't have a chance previously to get in on the main story line and catch up to the others in their own time.
Rules:
1.) You MUST have a completed reference sheet submitted into the group before you may start any Story Quests
2.) These quests are intended to be done in separate pictures; do not combine the individual quests please!
3.) If the quest is a Combo quest it will be stated as such when posted
4.) All Quest Submissions must be at least flat colour and fully lined in order to earn points. WIPS and lineart will not be counted.
5.) All Quests MUST contain a written portion. 6-8 sentences that give us the basic beginning, middle and end will suffice, but don't let that stop you from writing more! We love to read!
5.) Pixel art and bases ARE allowed for Story Quests so long as proper credit is given and pixel art MUST be your own.

There's a slight chill in the Autumn air (or if you're in the Southern Hemisphere, Spring!), and the gentle breeze stirs the leaves as September nears its end. What seemed like a perfectly normal day for your loved one, really is just a normal day by all appearances for them.
They wake up, going about their day like always. Whether they went to work, or school, or had some shopping to do, their normal routine passed away the hours as usual for them. So it never really occurred to them that while out on their errands, a run in with you was anything out of their typical version of ordinary. After all, they've seen you so many times before, right? So why on Earth would this be any different than say, last week, when you helped carry groceries, or met them for lunch while they were on a break, or went to the mall with them?
Though to some, perhaps you did seem just a little off...Not

Scott busied himself at the start of track practice waiting on Celeste to arrive. Once again, she was late. She keeps doing this to him, and he is getting chewed out by the coach now for making up all these excuses for her. It was really grinding on his nerves that she keeps flaking out. It isn't like her.

At the end of track, Scott wished his other good friend, Sarah [who shows up on time] a good day and then headed towards the locker room at the school to wash all the sweat off. About halfway there, he heard a familiar voice, "Heyyooooo!" It was Celeste, and very irritatingly, she missed practice and didn't appear even a little upset about it.

Scott steeled himself, "Where have you been? The coach is furious, and I am not that happy either." Celeste just continued to smile, "Well, you know mom, I had to go shopping for... groceries!" Scott furrowed his eyebrows. That was the first he'd ever heard of that. Then he noticed something, "Hey, ah, where's that necklace you always wear?"

Celeste shrugged her shoulders and spewed out, "Well being a superhero isn't for me, so I got rid of it???"

Scott rolled his eyes, "Well ex-hero, you could at least come to practice on time..."

Celeste gave another mix of odd explanations for why she was gone, asked some mundane questions that she really should know the answer to... and then very abruptly left. Scott felt that this was more strange than normal but brushed it off as her not showing up for practice was equally abnormal.

Not long after, Scott was exiting the locker room with his bag, all shinied up when he heard that familiar voiced again and turned around to see Celeste running up to him, "I AM SO SORRY I MISSED AGAIN! Was coach super mad?"

Scott stared blankly at Celeste... "We JUST had this conversation. I'm out." Scott scoffed and walked off, refusing to hear even one more excuse.
