So it finally happened.... @ERA7 recently reminded me with their recent post to ckeck the LAION-5B dataset again that is used to train popular AI Art generators such as Stable Diffusion or Midjourney. And who would have thought... now after some time some of my artworks appeared in the dataset now as well (you can check this using names and tags via haveibeentrained.com). What really struck me though is, that some of these images were exclusively uploaded to deviantArt. The only exceptions being the two Charizards and the Zapdos, which are available on one or two other sites. However, they are not tagged with my username "Malvareth" there. And upon checking the headlines they are identical with the ones I used here on dA. *sigh* ... I am beyond disappointed.... Over the past couple of months I witnessed over and over again how artist all over the world were treated with no respect and their works taken for free and granted. And it really hurt to see how people and their creativity
