I am glad to present my daily deviation Round-Up for March 2025 which showcases all the deviations I featured in this time. Actually, this Round-Up covers the areas I DD from Traditional Art and Artisan Crafts as well as AI (in this feature four AI pieces).

Usually for Literature there is a seperate Literature DD Round-Up in CRLiterature,

I will suspend the separate feature and put everything in a general one. If there are any comments or blurbs, I will note them in the general round-up below the featured literature. I feel that written work did not gain enough attention, so I will put my literature DDs again at the end of this Round-Up.

If you like any of the works, so please give these talented artists some love. Suggestions and self-suggestions are always welcome. At the end of the journal you will find my DD Suggestion Guidelines on how to send me your art suggestions.

Tutorial: Baking Elisabeth's Gingerbread / Contest

Oct 31, 2025
NEW - EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR ANOTHER MONTH - NEW (see the new deadline below behind the former date in paranthesis) Elisabeth's Gingerbread (Elisenlebkuchene) Where does the name Elisenlebkuchen actually come from? There is a legend in Nuremberg that says that Elisenlebkuchen was invented by a gingerbread baker around 1720. For a long time, Elisenlebkuchen was said to have healing properties. The legend of the gingerbread baker's daughter The legend has its origins in the illness of a gingerbread baker's daughter. He had lost his wife to a serious illness some time before. Now, as you can imagine, he was very worried about losing his daughter too. No doctor could help. In his great despair, he remembered that oriental spices were said to have healing properties. Since he had always used many of these oriental spices in his gingerbread bakery, he took courage again and came up with a new recipe for his gingerbread. This was made without flour and only with the highest quality
