Autumn Recipes Illustration

I finished an illustration for my college’s newspaper today and thought I’d share it with you guys. It’ll be accompanying a list of Halloween-related recipes the newspaper staff and I put together so I tried to make it festive and depicting some autumn-ish dishes like carrot cake and punch.

I drew the lines traditionally with some drafting pens and then colored in Photoshop. I’m not sure if I’m totally sold on the colors but everyone else likes it and I don’t think it looks terrible. Overall I’m pretty satisfied with how it turned out. It’ll be the first color illustration I’ve done for the newspaper too so that’s nice.
