I am a recent Graduate of University of North Texas with a bachelors in Interdisciplinary Art and Design Studies. I and those who hold the same degree have been called Art Wizards as we have found ways to apply art to all fields. At the moment I am enrolled as a Graduate Student at my Alma Mater, pursuing a Masters in Library Science. I have a passion for comic books and graphic novels as well as LGBTQ Literature and Art.
There is a small amount of my work posted here, but I am notoriously lazy about uploading. Bug me for more, I will dig it out and attempt to upload...a couple....maybe.
So I was wrong. There are artistic male nudes and semi-nudes...I have a sudden fascination for a lovely model called Umid used by http://vishstudio.deviantart.com/ . Okay, so he isn't nude, but damn near. Clearly, if one asks Deviantart for Nudes...the internet shall provide.
So I woke up bright and early at 6am to get ready for work. I don't have to be at work until 7:45, but I leave early so I get good off-campus parking. I was sitting in my car knitting when a man walked by, paused, and said "you always pull over and knit, lady?" I politely looked up and said, "would you prefer I drive and knit?"
Following that I went to work, opened shop, then knitted some more before diving headlong into an article about graphic novels and inclusion into library collections. Fun. Alright! So I have a handy dandy little thingie now that allows me to scan drawings at light-speed! Ladies and Germs, I give you the VuPoint Magic Wand Portable Scanner...it is magic. @_@ I have a giant notebook with drawings that go as far back as 1999...yes, I'm that old. You won't see anything pre-2002 though...I am too ashamed to scan it >_> However! At long last there shall be a HUGE upload day. I don't know if I'll write descriptions of everything at first, some will be sketches, some works in progress, some that are in need of redraw and others will be finished works that I won't touch ever again unless prompted by a kind critiq
