Note that the lines of potential do not get closer together as the Mandelbrot Set is approached, this is achieved by using the inverse arctan of the smooth iteration value as the colouring index.
The layer of field lines was created using mmf.ulb:Field Estimator in "Angles" mode, this version is better than mmf3.ucl:Field Lines.
