Ultra Fractal is the fractal software I use - [link] - and it allows you to write fractal (and other mathematical) formulas for the creation of images.
The latest version - UF5 - has classes allowing OOP.
Or would you....
Actually, (it's probably quite complicate, but) you might want to consider to allow several 3D Fractals in one scene so you could compose a near-real world out of them
Don't forget we haven't really started on the Mandelbulb Julias yet, or in fact on formulas other than z^p+c
Can't wait for that
Well, *some* julias already where created - one of the best being the Juliaberry sofar
So you'll basically rebuild a (basic but more modern, hopefully) PoV-ray?
(AFAIK, PoVRay could benefit a lot from a total rewrite... - especially when OpenCL starts to get more popular which of course isn't yet the case...)
Not actually the full thing.
