The anime version of Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite adaptations of the story IMO. Shockingly, despite being based on a book originally written in English, it has never been dubbed into English. (Most World Masterpiece Theater series never got English dubs, which is probably why many American anime fans are not familiar with the WMT franchise.)
