Undeterred By Waves

It is an unnecessary torrent of tidal pressure, red or blue, popular or alone, wealthy or wishing. All across the world, people are faced with choosing sides — forgetting the immense power of simply choosing each other.

Even in this age of AI, an argument is boiling over the use of it in creation. A tool, like so many evolutions before it, that somehow appeared as a threat. It’s always easier to attack change and new ideas. Cars, AC electricity, airplanes, power drills, computers, microwaves, even new music styles — all of them were met with a storm of resistance, driven by fear or dislike. Funny how all that resistance only made them more popular. Ha art is far beyond it's roots when its a multi-million duct tapped banana.

I grew up tinkering in 3D before you could even keyframe. I dabbled in SideFX, LightWave, Maya, 3DS — tools that felt like magic and madness at the same time. I remember spending a week hand-modeling my dog in an early version of Hash 3D Animation, long before bones or character rigs existed. Yet my work was often accused of being copied or faked, which is painful when you know how many hours your hands and mind gave to every vertex and curve.

My paintbrush has always been digital. My mind, a virtual pencil.

Here, on this platform, is a place where people can share what inspires them, no matter the art medium. Yet some still choose to act like enemies, when we could be helping each other build whatever dream we’re chasing.

I don’t care what your pronouns are, what political side you choose, gay or straight. Thus I choose Lady Liberty. To me, she’s a symbol of something we all carry inside: freedom, determination, and the will to stand tall in the face of challenge. I know it's a read, but man, whoever you are, I hope the next time you tempt attack or unneeded competition you instead softly step or offer help and humility.
