edit: The bronze/copper combination has been claimed and shipped, the aluminum/round finally got nabbed. There's always a crisis somewhere, so the last is still available for donations.

I don't have the setup for a charity auction, so I'll do this instead. These guys are available for a $25 donation to the red cross: [link]

Note me if you're interested. I'll give you my email and send out the pendant as soon as you forward me a copy of the emailed receipt.

You can find more of my trees and other wraps @ [link]

These are lovely. They are so simple and elegant.

They all look quite lovely! I have not yet attempted a tree of life pendant myself, so I've been collecting them here on DA to get some ideas. I'm thinking about a silver trunk and setting the tree in a copper pendant. Maybe a teardrop shape. Feel free to use that idea if you want, I'm curious to see how it will look and my crafting supplies are packed ATM :(

Well, I've done pendants with an aluminum teardrop and copper pendant. I haven't done many silver trees because the size metal I use most often for the trees I'm having trouble getting in sterling!

Why are your supplies packed?

I just moved and my dad didn't want a mes everywhere so I had to put it all away until my desk got here. Now I'm just trying to unpack so I can finish setting up my room.

It's like my love of twisted trees embodied in jewelry.

AT LAST! YOUR BONSAI PENDANTS ARE A SIGHT FOR SORE EYES!
it gives me peace to see them. They are so simple in their design, but unlike all the bracelets and pendants made through the process of simple adding beads on a string :P your pendants posses that special charm of a work that is finished. There is nothing to add or deduct from them to make them better!

Thank you for such a lovely comment.

There are a lot of elegant wireworkers on da, many moreso than me ;) Take a look at [link] There will be a lot of really flamboyant pieces, but also an amazing amount of graceful work.

it is true that there is many graceful and works shown in the linked group, but what I like best is somewhat different. There is a typical goldsmith approach to jewelery; an approach that produces stylish forms that seam over decorated! (if you would produce a series of identical shapes and coat them in paint you would not be able to distinguish their material. it would stop to matter. but if they would remain bare their natural properties would become visible, and some materials would fit the shape better than the others!) materials have their own nature and if they are used in a way that shows and uses those properties and natures they are a decoration all by them selves and the need fore stylish twirls, rocks, lace-like formations... become useless .
like a haiku poem; that which is unsaid is equally important. some links that show what I mean:

Thank you. Another deviant mentioned pink for trees and while it isn't generally my color it brought this to mind :)

Ooh, you want natural pearls like these but bumpy?

Sure, you know I'm pretty shameless about supplies.

Okay cool, whats the gauge youd stick them on? so I can test to see if theyre usable.

Yeah they'd work great.

You're not going to venture into beads then?
