Dear fellow deviants
Something to think about:
Dealing with strangers online seems to involve a kind of dual thinking.
It's weird: 1. you are who you appear to be; and 2. you might not be. I always think of the phrase 'bozo in the basement'. E.g. You see a pic of an attractive female user but in reality it's some bozo in a basement posing as said female user. Or, a handsome young guy is actually 60!
Have fun here but as on any social website take all precautions. As my friend reminded me the same rule applies in the real world. Basically, trust no one until they have earned it; and even then there are degrees of trust. The process of trusting someone begins only when you have met them face to face. And they strongly advise never meeting a stranger you've met online in the real world. A lot of conditions would have to be met before considering doing that.
