Pokemon Trinity Episode 52
Beth waited impatiently in her personal quarters insider the Almer Arena. Although she had enjoyed yesterday's quarterfinal matches, despite misconduct from certain competitors, she couldn't focus on tomorrow's semifinals because of what Professor Aspen had found. Someone out there was the poacher's mobile base carrying the extremely dangerous Legendary Pokémon Yveltal. The authorities were on the poacher's trail, but they were stuck catching up after being days behind. What concerned Beth the most was that the base's path is pointing it towards the Almer Gardens. After what like hours of waiting, Beth got a long awaited call from Professor Aspen.
"Tell me you have good news."
"We are getting close to the base since the tracks are getting fresher, but we can't make visual contact with it."
"Is it camouflaged?"
"I don't know how to explain it. Based on the tracks and estimations of the equipment needed to contain Yveltal, this base should be big a Wailord and impossible to hide.

Parker trudged down the halls of the arena trying to fight his nerves. After his defeat by Neil in the quarterfinals, everything was about to come crashing down. He was overwhelmed by so many emotions and worries he didn't know how to feel. Part of him wanted to blame Neil, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. Maybe deep down, Parker knew winning the Allae conference wouldn't fix things like he hoped and losing finally allowed him to admit that. His musings were interrupted by a raving voice down the hall.
"LET ME GO! YOU DROOLING NUMEL! I WILL NOT BE TREATED THIS WAY! I DEMAND JUSTICE! MY GENIUS COULD NOT HAVE POSSIBLE HAVE LOST TO ANY OF THESE NEOPHITE DULLARDS HE CHEATED!"
Over a corner, Earnie was being forcefully escorted by the league staff. He defiantly struggled while continuing to scream about being cheated. Parker could barely believe one of the quarter finalists would behave in such a way. Then again, he didn't behave much better. A few minutes after Earnie was evicted

From her personal box seat, Beth watched Keith's match against Earnie while also keeping an eye on the other matches from some monitors. There was always one or two exceptional trainers in every league, but this year's batch was especially great. As the Allea region's champion, Beth knew that experience was the most important asset a trainer, which was why Neil and his friends had gotten so far in the tournament. She had done a little digging and found out the trio had a knack for getting into trouble, but each incident they overcame made them and their Pokémon stronger, wiser, more resourceful, and strengthened their bonds. Keith's success against Earnie was a prime example of the the strength of experience.
Earnie was every bit the genius was said to be. His strategies and calculations were brilliant, well thought out, and solid, and his Pokémon were well trained, but he was unprepared for the unexpected. Keith kept pulling the rug out from under his feet using unorthodox maneuvers

Keith recalled Toxapex while Earnie stared him down. He had managed to get an early lead against the arrogant genius, even setting up Toxic Spikes on the field for the long game, but he wasn't out of the woods yet. Both trainers then sent out their next Pokémon
"Electrode!" Earnie announced
"Let's do it Slowbro!" Keith shouted
Keith sent out Slowbro while Earnie threw out a spherical Pokémon that resembled an upside down Pokéball which Keith scanned with his Pokédex.
"Electrode, the Ball Pokémon, an Electric type. Electrode tend to live near power plants and other places with large amounts of electric to feed off the excess electric charges in the air. The more electricity they store, the faster they can move, but their feeding has been known to cause an occasional blackout. Storing too much electricity can cause it to explode in order to release the excess energy, though they sometimes do it just for entertainment."

Keith entered the arena for his quarterfinal match. He saw his opponent, Earnie, strutting in from the opposite direction full of swagger and confidence. Before the match, Keith did a little research on his opponent and learned as arrogant as he was, Earnie indeed the favored to win. He was a genius prodigy whose strategies were described as flawless and always left him a few steps ahead. Beating him wouldn't be easy, but Keith had a plan of his own. After entering the battle, the two trainers met in the middle to shake hands as per tradition for the final matches of the league. Unfortunately, Earnie wasn't in the mood for sportsmanship.
"Hello loser. Looks like you weren't even smart enough to withdraw."
"I'm not scared of you." Keith asserted

It was about an hour until the quarterfinals started all the finalists were called to the arenas to get ready for their matches. Sarah was on her way to her waiting room when she noticed two familiars faces in a distant hall. The first was Laura, and the second was someone Sarah hadn't seen in a very long time: the first rank gym leader Faun and Laura's older sister. Curious, she drew closer and soon heard arguing.
"Come on sis, I came all the way out here to see you compete. Where's the love?" Faun asked
"It went out the window; I don't have time for quitters." Laura snapped
"I didn't quit, I just found a different direction for my life."
"Same difference. Stay if you want, but I don't care."
"Is that how your treat your Pokémon?"
"My Pokémon are happy to give their all! Just because you couldn't do the same..."
"You still don't get it do you? *sigh* Good luck sis, I mean it."
Laura stormed off and after a moment pondering, Fauna went the opposite direction where she ran

After winning their 3rd round matches, Neil, Keith, and Sarah went to have lunch and talk shop. They picked out a tropical themed restaurant and took some seats. As they waited for their order, the trio noticed some unique Pokémon hanging around. The first was a large sauropod-like Pokémon resting outside with leafy wings on its back, green leaves wrapped around its head, and a small bunch of bananas growing from on its neck.
The second Pokémon was much smaller dragon Pokémon flying around the restraunt delivering notes. It wore pieces of an apple as a shell, with the bottom attached its tail, the sides attached to its arm and acting as wings, and the top sitting on its head pierced through by a small horn.
Lastly, the third Pokémon was quadrupedal lizard-Pokémon walking around carrying trays on its very large back. The thrid Pokémon had green skin, floppy ears, a large piece of apple covering the top of its head, and its back had an enormous hump with the top bearing a resemblance

Sarah watched in shock as Espeon landed beside her after taking Samurott's Retaliate. Despite just entering the battle, Zee's Samurott had demonstrated incredible power.
"Samurott's making a real comeback tour. Retaliate hits with double power when used right after an ally has been defeated. It's the perfect move for striking back!" M.C P.K announced
Espeon stood up, but it was clear to Sarah she had taken a lot of damage.
"Show they your power Samurott: Ice Beam!" Zee ordered
"Use Copycat!" Sarah shouted
Samurott gathered energy into is mouth which it fired out as a bolt of freezing energy. Espeon mimicked the attack and fire her own bolt out of her forehead gem and the two moves collided. The freezing energy in the Ice Beams mixed together and created a giant glacier sticking out in the middle of the battlefield. The day had came for the third round to commence where the remaining sixteen competitors would be whittled down to just eight. Since there were so few trainers left, that meant the they would be battling all at the same time so the trio couldn't watch each other battle. Neil was pitted against a trainer with dreadlocks named Omar who had a serious look on his face.
"Welcome everyone to the third round. For those joining in, I am Tenny Mix, winner of the 43rd Almer conference and now part time color commentator. I will be providing play by play using my personal experience as a former champion to give you all the juicy details."
The referee took her position in the ring and raised her flags "This will be a three-on-three battle with substitutions allowed by both sides. Trainers, send out your Pokémon!"
"Golisopod!" Neil shouted
"Let's win this Minior!"
After Neil sent out Golisopod, Omar sent out a floating spherical Pokémon with five points resembling a star and a rocky exterior
