Well your gallery is simply memorizing. I'm stunned at what you can do with a computers this is a stupid question. My wife just bought me a Mac with pen and pad. I'm 40 years old and I don't know what I'm doing. Got on any ideas for new beginners? I'm stunned by your beautiful art work. Do I have to utilize a scanner first and draw my art first and then send it to photoshop? (Art program I'm using is gimp. Or do I just start with drawing in the computer art program and paint with it? Just wondered what's the better results?

You may start your sketch on paper first then scan it to your computer for outlining. I highly recommend using softwares like Adobe Photoshop (version CS5 or above)  , or Corel Painter. For a starter you can try googling or even search basic tutorials on DA such as how to outline , filling flat colors etc. Just take your time , nothing is too late when it comes to learning :) All the best!
