Yet another excellent commission done by *Valkyrie-Girl. I thank her tremendously for yet another marvellous picture of a family of an OC changeling immigrant family to Manehattan, Weevil and his domineering wife, Echo, and their children, including their son, Shroud and their hatchling filly. They are all featured in my My Little Pony, story, Citizen Weevil: www.fimfiction.net/story/14225… In this story, the Changeling Kingdom and its culture are based off Imperial and partly Feudal Japan, hence why they are dressed in kimonos.

In the story, taking place some years in the future in Manehattan, Weevil, Echo and their family are amongst hundreds of thousands of migrants, be they changeling, zebra, Dog, etc, have moved to Equestria seeking a better life there than peasant life in the Changeling Kingdom. They are living in Six Points, a deprived and increasingly multi-species district in Lower Manehattan, where they know own a store and are raising their children, including their firstborn, Shroud and their newly hatched filly grub. In Six Points, they have family, including Weevil's cousin, Scarab, and many friends and acquaintances. Life isn't the easiest in Six Points, but they're managing, as shown here where they are having a family stroll (albeit Echo is yelling at Weevil for the uptenth time that day).

Just a sidenote here, the Weevil in this picture is a different character from Lord Weevil, a different OC who is Chrysalis' brother. In my headcanon, Weevil is a common name amongst Changeling stallions.
