So I haven't been very active here lately. So....

What are llama badges and why do people keep giving them to me?

So I went on a really long drawing hiatus where I didn't even update the comic. I've been back to drawing lately, but I've been spending the majority of my time on FurAffinity because I've had so much luck selling commissions there X_x I don't know if it's because the community is smaller over there or what, but I've loved the people I've met so far.

Only downside is, now people think I'm a furry XD;;;

I don't just want to draw furries exclusively, though. I started drawing them because I was bored with my generic anime style and wanted to try different things...even though I just ended up drawing generic anime furries >w< ANYWAY. I'd like to start being active here again, but as I'm getting older I'm finding spare time harder and harder to come by. Maybe I can't sell many commissions here, but surely I can find some use for this gallery...

Sigh. I love the anime style and my skills are improving the more I practice, but...I kinda wish I had a more unique style. There's some art that I can look at and immediately know who drew it. Unfortunately, I don't think mine is really like that. Not to mention it's I like cute things as much as the next girl, but I'd like SOME variety T_T

Maybe I'll use this opportunity to try new styles and mediums, and that's what I'll do with this gallery.

Sorry to anyone who's noted or commented to me here. There's no way I'm going through that huge backlog in my inbox and replying to them.

My website's main page has now been updated~ Fox Tails now has its own sub-category, so I can post any other projects I may have on the main page. Also, check out the blog if you're interested in news/updates on anything regarding my work.

Yeesh, I haven't been here in over a year. I didn't even know I won a contest >_>;;

So I'm not used to the DA of today. How do a sort my gallery from newest to oldest instead of the way it is now?

Commission info:…

Well, I gave in and got an FA account. I've had fun drawing a couple of furry pics, but I'd like to keep this gallery as more anime and such. So from now on, anything furry will be at my FA gallery ^^; Here it is:…

Don't expect much. It'll probably just have some giftart and any furry commissions I may get.

Commission info:…

I mentioned this in my forum, but I thought I'd post it here too (in case anyone was interested.

I just started playing this game called Wolf Quest ( It's mostly for kids, but I'm having fun with it. You can design and play a wolf, and even play with your friends online. AND it's free. It's pretty new right now, though. So all you can really do is find a mate and go hunting. Obviously, it'll get pretty repetitive until the next 'episode' is released. Still, it's kinda fun to waste time with. In future installments, they say they're going to try adding things like scent marking and pups :3

It was designed by actual wolf experts, and they keep saying how they want to keep it realistic. Like a learning experience for people who either don't know much about wolves or idealize them too much. I just adore animals, and I adore the idea behind this game. I hope it does well in the future!

I haven't tried online play yet, since it's not mass-multiplayer. If any of you get an account, let me know, so we can play together x3
Commissions completed: 1

Okay, I'm finally gonna start selling commissions. These are the prices I'm going with now, but they may change later since I'm new at this. Note that these will be have basic lineart with just basic coloring and shading. (Examples:………)

Slots (I will not accept more commissions when these are full):

Sketch/lineart: $5
Colored headshot: $10
Colored 2/3 or ref sheet: $15
Colored fullbody: $20
Detailed backgrounds: +$5
Extra characters: +$5 each

Things I will draw:
Original characters
Reference sheets
Yaoi/Yuri couples
Skimpy outfits

Things I will NOT draw:
Characters that are not yours
Strong gore
Full nudity (exception: Anthros in which naughty bits are well-covered by fur)
Derogatory content (racism, etc)
Strange fetishes
I also retain the right to refuse to draw anything else I'm uncomfortable with.

Note or email me with the type of commission you want, including a link to a reference or a detailed written description of the character. If you don't want to pay for background, the commission will either have a white or simple gradient one. Also include other details that you might want, such as a preferred pose or background. I will reply and confirm the cost. Commissions will not be started until the amount has been sent.

I accept US dollars via Paypal. Payment must be made upfront after I give you the price. Commissions can be canceled at any time with a full refund, but there are no refunds once I've given you the completed work. Time expectancy is three days to a month, depending on how many commissions I have and other factors on my time. If a month has gone by and you still don't have it, you're free to pester me ^^; *gulp*

Commissions will contain a small watermark in the corner (~Fallon Willard) and may also be posted on my gallery. You may pretty much use and modify your picture anyway/where you want, but please don't claim you drew it, sell copies of it, or post it to other art gallery sites (deviantart, sheezyart, furaffinity, etc.) without consulting me first.

I've been thinking about it for awhile now. I'm not really sure if I should or not. I couldn't offer the fully-colored detailed ones that I do, because they take too long. But I could offer simple colors with traditional inking (like… and…), or even just sketches/lineart. I think I might also draw some furry examples.

I don't know how much I would charge, though. I'm not one of those super-artists, so it can't be too much >.>;; Would anyone buy them?
Okay, will somebody tell me if this is real?…

Basically, under this bill, your work won't be protected anymore unless you pay money to register the copyright. I mean, it's just so...unbelievable. I'm kinda at a loss because it's so ridiculously horrible that it can't possibly be real, right? >_>; Surely it won't get passed.

EDIT: Phew, it looks like people were over-reacting a bit:…

The journal I posted earlier was editted too. Still, it seems kinda fishy to me. Even if it isn't nearly as bad as it first sounds, it does sound like it could be easily abused....

First off, this isn't a rant. I think. It's more like a lecture. Or just my opinion. Either way, it's probably boring, I just felt like saying it.

Tracings: Tracing is an excellent way to get started drawing. No, I'm not kidding. When I was a little kid, I used to flip my worksheets over and trace the little drawings they had on the front. Anyone who's ever tried to draw knows how hard it can be to make the correct shapes and lines you're thinking of. It's the first step. Tracing is a good way to train your hand to make those careful movements. It's like learning to swim by practicing the strokes.

However, just because you were the one holding the pencil, doesn't make the image yours. That's like copying someone's math homework. It may have been your hand that did it, but it was someone else's idea and work that came first. It's easy and anyone can do it. You're not special.

Referencing: Referencing is step two. Drawing what you see just by looking at it. Anyone who's known me for a long time knows that I also used to do this (especially when I was just starting to get into anime). There's a difference between referencing a picture to get an idea of a pose and simply copying exactly what you see. Both are good learning experiences, but by no means should be relied on.

Like with tracing, this image doesn't really belong to you. You can write out a Harry Potter book word for word (even in a different font and changing Harry Potter's name to Steve Irwin) and it still wouldn't be yours. Amusing, but not yours. This is a great way to get started, but it still doesn't make you a great artist. You can usually tell this by trying to draw something without referencing. There's usually a sharp difference in quality.

Next step is actually drawing something on your own. Remember: Just because you take off your training wheels, doesn't mean you're going to be doing tricks off a stair-rail the next day. I've been drawing since I was four, and it's obvious I'm still learning. It takes time, and yes, practice.

Tracing or referencing and then posting it on deviantArt (even if you give credit to the original artist) is cheating. Yes, you're getting comments and praise from friends, but do you really deserve it? It's skipping the effort it takes to become good at something and relying on the talent of others. You're not an artist, you're a copy-machine.

So quit wasting time doing that, and use that time to improve YOUR art. As you improve, you'll even find that trying to trace or reference something becomes much more boring.

Just thought I'd mention that.

Secret Santa thing:…

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, my dad and I have to move back to Oregon and stay with my grandma for a little while. Not that I have some attachment to Las Vegas (I actually like Oregon better), but it kinda sucks that all this is happening so close to the holidays.

I had a lot of things planned that I wanted to work on, but since we're going to drive up there, I'll probably be without internet or even computer access for at least a week. So right now I need to concentrate my energy on the essentials. I've been working hard on the comic so hopefully there won't be any missed updates, and I still need to finish my Secret Santa thingy. I've been wanting to start working on forum-only extras, but it looks like those'll have to wait.

In lighter news, I've finally got my learner's permit and my dad is teaching me how to drive (I know, I'm 18, I should know this stuff by now). Am I the only one who thinks driving is the scariest thing ever? This coming from a girl who liked the roller-coasters on the Stratosphere (800ft in the air on top of a building, they hang ya over the side).

Gah, but continuing onto suckier news, I've had to go to the dentist a bunch lately X_x I didn't realize my teeth were so messed up. But now I'm totally neurotic about brushing and flossing two to three times a day. On the plus side, they gave me prescription pain pills afterwards, so that was kinda cool...

Also, I think I might be anorexic without meaning to be O.o; It's not like I have a body-image problem, I just sometimes forget I'm supposed to eat everyday.

So that's the update on my life. It might be awhile before you get another >_>;;
I'm participating in the :iconcentis-xmas-xchange: Secret Santa thingy. Each person has to post a journal of the characters they want so when we start drawing names, we can just check the journals. 'Dis one's mine~

Damn, I don't draw my own characters enough >.>; I hope these example pics are good enough. They're in order from most wanted.

Cheyenne (male)… (the one on the left)…… (also a good one of Kaze)… (shows where his jacket parts from a front view)

Kaze (male)…… (also a good one of Cheyenne)
The ears are optional. They appear and reappear >.> But the tail should stay.

Ayame (female)…… (fullview)… (good one of her outfit)

Miyo (female)…… (Eh, only good one I could find of the lower part of her costume)… (I don't think anybody noticed, but her outfit has changed a bit since she got her new tail. There's more fur, and the designs have expanded.)
Either version is fine.

Jeanne (furry?)… She's the one on the left. Eh, I only have one pic or her. She's not a character from the comic, so I don't really draw her that often XD;

That's all. I can't wait till I get a name XD;; I hope I do a good job.

Okay. This is how you play...
Here's how it works: Enter "yourname needs" into google and then see what the first ten entries say you need. Then post the results to your blog.

Fallon needs a place to write her first pen pal or journal her latest experience. (I wish I had a penpal and experiences D: )

Fallon needs to address NDEP's comments for Site 24 in the letter dated January 21, 1999. (lol, what?)

Fallon needs to be interviewed on all the Sunday Shows. (Totally.)

Fallons needs assessment and shopping experience. (???)

Fallon needs a senior planner with at least 5-8 years of experience to take the principal position on an important international account. (That's good...right?)

Fallon needs to protect our Armed Forces from Iran. (Oh shit...)

Fallon needs a cab service. (Yes....yes I do! o.o)

Fallon needs to get busy suing those bums and show that the good survive, not the lying cheating wanna bees, who never will. (Hah?)

Fallon needs to improve. (...*sniff*)

Fallon needs to end. ( o.o )

I got a tablet! I got a tablet! *dance*

It's just a little wacom tablet. Like, the smallest size. I got it for free, though (I can't tell you why, though, it's a surprise). It's so spiffy, I'm having fun just messing with it right now. I've never used a tablet before, so it'll take some getting used to. Tips? Tricks?

Of course, this means I can do all sorts of new stuff x3 I feel like when I first got Photoshop. Like I got a new weapon on WoW that raises my artist stats so I can draw more stuff and gain more experience and grow more artist levels so I can make better pictures.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that D:

Okay, I AM offering some free sketches, but mostly it's an attention tactic to get my question answered >.> Does anyone know what those things next to your username on deviantART mean? Like, "~" and "*" and "`" and "="

It's been buggin' me.

Anyway, now what you're really here for, free sketches. I'm only doing them out of boredom, so I'm only doing 3 >.> Sorry. And first come, first serve.

I'm only drawing linearts. Ask for any character you want, OCs or fanart or whatever, but I would appreciate a reference picture of the character. Also realize I'm most comfortable drawing in my own style. And please don't ask me to draw anything weird...

If you've already received a free sketch from me before, please consider giving other people a chance XD;;

Yeah, just thought I'd post a journal to update everyone on what's been happening lately and why I've been so quiet.

First of all, Comicgen is still being a bitch. I THINK they're changing servers, and it should be up next week. But in the meantime, all the downtime and late updates, TOTALLY not my fault. There was a week that I DID purposely miss updates, because I was frustrated with the whole thing and decided I'd take a break while they got their stuff together -.-; But other than that, nah.

Another thing I hate about it is how it's making my story seem like it's progressing so slowly. *sigh*

Anyway, as for devArt. I haven't really posted much for two reasons. One: I dunno what to draw. I never do D: I usually end up needing someone to TELL me what I want to draw.

Two: I kinda-sorta-not-really have an unofficial job. See, my dad designs and sells pools for a living. And he has to draw the plans for the pools, with correct lengths and such. But he has to do it from a directly vertical view, and a lot of the customers can't really picture the pool from that angle. So, him and the other salesmen used to pay a guy to draw an 'artist conception' of what the pool will look like when it's done.

But the guy who used to do it died D: So my dad thought maybe I could do it. So I've been spending weeks practicing it, and learning how to use copic markers (since those look the best for this kind of thing). Gawd, those things are expensive though, huh? Anyway, I've started doing it for real and am now being paid about $30 per drawing. I don't really LIKE drawing pools, but I also want a laptop. So. Yanno XD;;

So that's been taking up a lot of my drawing energy. But I need to relax a little and draw other stuff too D: So I'mma go think of some stuff...

Fanime was so exhausting. It was a so-so time, really. Anime cons are always fun, but it was just me and my dad, so it couldn't really be 'amazing'. I wanted to show my dad some anime, but the video rooms were totally disorganized. Only got to see the last half hour of a Detective Conan movie, which ended up being dad's favorite one. Don't even get my started on the Honey and Clover incident. Assholes.

I DID get to see D. Gray Man, which was great, because I've been wanting to check it out. We also got to see a Lupin III movie, and I explained there were three rules to the anime: Goemon's sword can cut anything, Jigan never misses, and Lupin has an endless supply of totally life-like costumes of everybody.

I also watched Tsubasa season two from about 10am to 6pm. If that doesn't cause me to dream about it for at least a week, I swear I don't know what will.

I bought a bunch of Japanese snacks~ The strawberry mochi is very squishy. It's like marshmallow marshmallows. I also got the obligatory box of pocky. And anything else that caught my fancy...though...I REALLY wish I knew how to open a bottle of Ramune. I think the Japanese might be smarter than me D: 'cause I can't figure it out at all. It looks really sweet and tasty...I really wanna try it...any help?

Took some pictures of cosplayers. And bought an Ichimaru Gin keychain (Kyuu...I can't resist a fox-face...and of course I had to get a Kira Izuru so he doesn't get lonely...)

I also bought a couple of prints and a doujinshi from artist colony. I got to meet the creator of Slightly Damned x3

Anyway...that's all for now. I'm gonna go pass out.

I get to go to FanimeCon in San Jose, California~ No table or anything, just haven't been to an anime con in awhile, so I'm excited. I was going to meet a couple of my friends there, but it doesn't look like they'll be able to make it afterall D: *whine*

Cons are fun, but not nearly as much fun alone. I guess it's an opportunity to get my dad into anime XD God only knows I already got my mom into it. She actually buys anime without me now.

It's only a matter of time. No one can escape it OX
 • Watching: Law & Order
Lately (well, not really lately, just in general) I've noticed people talking about how they hate it when people favorite their 'junk' or 'practice sketches' or other things. Or when people complain how people fav-bomb things just for the sake of it, rather than that they particularly like it. Or fav it just because it's 'OMG SEPHIROTH KAWAII' might just be because I'm kinda spacey that I don't understand, but...why does this annoy people? >.>;

I seems strange. If someone wants to have an unavigable 300+ favs page, that's their problem, right? >.>; It's not like people favoriting everything in sight is lowering the value of your pictures. Hell, I'd think it'd be great. The more favorites, the more likely people are to find your art through others.

I guess I'm saying it doesn't really affect YOU, just the people who do the fav'ing. I mean, if it's really THAT annoying to delete the message "Hey! Someone likes your crap! They faved it and everything!" in your devArt inbox, I guess you have the right to complain if it really bothers you...

All of that just confuses me, it doesn't really bother me. What BOTHERS me is when people get mad at popular artists who only draw cute fanart or yaoi or whatever. They say "These people only get watched so much because they use those stupid over-done and unoriginal characters/pairings." Just because someone draws something that happens to be popular, doesn't make them any less of an artist than you. Whether you like it or not, people who draw Naruto will likely get more favorites than someone who draws unfamiliar characters. This is because there's a butt-load of Naruto fans who are probably actively searching for the art, and only a handful of people who will come across and be interested in an OC. It's pop-culture. It's what's popular. It kinda sucks if you don't like Naruto, but that doesn't really change anything.

Draw what you want and be happy with it and appreciate the people who like it too. If what you like to draw happens to be super-popular, then why the hell not take advantage of it?

It just seems like people are throwing stones.

Besides. Sephiroth is indeed kawaii.

Taken from :iconensoul:

April is National Poetry Month, so when you see this, post a poem you like on your Journal.

This one is my very favorite.

We are the music-makers,
 And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
 And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers,
 Upon whom the pale moon gleams:
Yet we are the movers and shakers
 Of the world for ever, it seems.
With wonderful deathless ditties
We build up the world's great cities,
 And out of a fabulous story
 We fashion an empire's glory:
One man with a dream, at pleasure,
 Shall go forth and conquer a crown;
And three with a new song's measure
 Can trample an empire down.
We, in the ages lying
 In the buried past of the earth,
Built Nineveh with our sighing,
 And Babel itself with our mirth;
And o'erthrew them with prophesying
 To the old of the new world's worth;
For each age is a dream that is dying,
 Or one that is coming to birth.

--Ode, by Arthur O'Shaughnessy
