Aims & How to join + Submission Guidelines + Advertisements & Links
As you may have read in the previous journal post of stitchingpirates I had the idea of doing a group SAL (Stitch ALong) where we all work on getting things finished this year. This can be a New project, a project you already started, or that old, scary UFO that's been lurking at the bottom of the box since 1969. It doesn't matter! You may choose to work on one project at a time or several, you can announce one at a time or write a whole journal post with a list as long as your arm - it's all allowed! Everyone works differently but sometimes it's good to have company while you work

So... Don't do it alone - Lets do it together!
How to join in:
If you have one project you want to join in with:
Submit a picture of your WIP to the WIP/UFO folder of the group.
Put in the description what you are working on - the name of the pattern/pattern creator/size etc.
Add when you think you started/ when you started.
Write a comment here with a link to your project.
If you have more projects you want to join in with:
Write a journal post listing everything you want to achieve in 2013 - this list isn't cast in stone! It's just a wish list at this point.
Put "WIP" or "UFO" in the title of the deviation along with the project name so we we are reminded what you are working on.
Choose your first WIP/UFO you want to work on and submit a picture of your WIP to the WIP/UFO folder of the group.
Put in the description what you are working on - the name of the pattern/pattern creator/size etc.
Add when you think you started/ when you started.

What happens next:

Need help or encouragement before the next update?
Just submit a picture of your WIP to the WIP/UFO folder of the gallery and write about it in the description of your WIP.
Put "Help needed with WIP" in the title along with your project name so we don't overlook it on a busy day.
Tell us what you are making - just the name of the pattern/designer will do
Tell us what is frustrating you or tell us what went wrong etc. It's easier to give help/support when we know what you need
Do you *have* to finish what you added to this project?

If you have any questions ask away - there are no silly/stupid questions - just things you don't know (yet) or things that are clear to me but not clear for you! Either comment here or send me a note (I won't see group notes so make sure you send it via my profile).
I and the crew of stitchingpirates can't wait to see what you want to work on this year!
