Just uploaded "The Arch" http://magic-byte.deviantart.com/#/d5879h7, my latest render. I wish I had more time to work on 3D! It's fun to let your imagination run wild and think about things that you have not really thought of before. Hopefully I'll get back to rendering things regularly...

I know I said earlier that I wanted to do at least one render per month --- I've failed to meet those expectations.I've simply been too busy with work and other hobbies (e.g., programming). Creating digital art is fun, but is pretty much at the bottom of my priorities at the moment. The fact that I usually spend 4, 5 hours just to set up a simple scene in Blender doesn't really help.Give me a few months to get started again, hopefully.Thanks, all.

So, I finally took advantage of the FLM file format used by Luxrender to postpone/resume renders. http://magic-byte.deviantart.com/#/d4lk5gc It saved me 25 hours of rendering time. :DI wonder if this kind of "resume render" feature is a standard thing nowadays... it certainly should be for every single rendering engine out there. If anything, it will help you recover lost time if your computer crashes during a render (although I've yet to experience this with Linux...).
