Silver and Dazzle: Thursday

This is unrelated to this particular image, but because the CMC don't play a part in this series Silver just doesn't seem to be on the same level of jerkiness as Diamond.  In the show we've had signs that Silver sometimes just goes along with Diamond, but can go her own way, such as her clapping at Granny Smith's story.  We've never had a Silver alone moment like in your story, so we have no concept for her personality when she's not bullying others.

I can easily see your interpretation of Diamond fitting in with show canon, but I find it harder to believe with Silver. Aren't animal lover types supposed to be friendly and kind? How does it mesh with her joining in with Diamond's antics? I think Silver needs a flaw or two to showcase her darker side, because she seems way too friendly of a person to the point where she seems like she could be a CMC friend.

Oh, and this is even more unrelated to this pic, but I don't remember what pic we started this conversation on a while back. You said in your description of Diamond that you were avoiding stereotypical 'bratty girl' traits, like calling her father 'daddy.'  And that immediately brought me to Princess Morbucks from the Powerpuff Girls.  I can hear her saying it. She bribes Mojo with a ton of cash to get rid of the Girls, and when he asks how much she's offering she just turns to her dad and goes "Daaaaaddy?
