A character with a lot of money in fiction is basically equivalent to a character with magic. Their wealth allows them to do almost anything you can imagine, provided you give them proper motivation to do it. If you want them to go on an Indiana Jones-esque adventure and find a lost civilization, they can afford it. If you want them to go to space and fight aliens in zero gravity, they can afford it. If you want them to have a game show room in their house so they can test out their new dog, then you and I are on the same wavelength.

Unlike characters with magic, rich characters are generally perceived to be boring sticks in the mud by default. So we don't get to see their money used for much other than showing off the fact that they are, in fact, rich. I say we need more Scrooge McDucks from DuckTales, rather than Scrooge McDucks from Mickey's Christmas Carol.  Put that money to good use.

Wow. Threw both the Tiara AND Dazzle in the trash. You'd think her dad would be a bit more concerned about that. Oh, wait. He's the one that hit the latch to open the can.  Nevermind.

Also, is that a sticky note on the frame? Like DT has to justify why her family portrait doesn't have her mom in it.

They had to put something on the left side. The mom did a horrible job centering the picture.

I know I've said this before, but you're lucky to have a dog diamond, and you underestimate dazzle.

What can he do that she underestimates?
SonicTAlicorn's avatar
Well, for one, he accepts what she gives him. Most cats don't. At least, until you turn your back.

he can bake, he can cook, he can act very well, he's a gamer, he can understand basic human (or in this case, pony) reactions, he bought diamond tiara a Ping pong ball, he can obliterate anybody who tries to threaten his owner, he can play sports, he can dance, and I'm guessing he can swim, and he can transverse dimensions. I'm sure there's more, I'd have to look at his pics.

You make a lot of good points. Though he can't dance.

Well, he was learnin. XD because diamond forced him to.

He's still got a long way to go.

Also true. He does have quite a few talents for such a little guy.

I like that "Employee of Eternity" Trophy.
Also in Dazzle's defense I would say a cat who thinks it is a dog is pretty unique.

It's the perfect award for Filthy to give himself. And good luck convincing Diamond of that.

Why is he so short? (Just a question)

Perhaps he is.

Come on, DT. Even you know that every good trick takes a minimum of ten seconds.

I'm guessing it wouldn't have helped Dazzle out here. :giggle:

Right, because 6 seconds out of the blue to do something that hasn't even been determined yet is perfectly reasonable.

When you've got high expectations, sometimes it's hard to be reasonable. ;)
