So yeah, that happened. Sakurai still unpredictable as ever. So this is super-late but I thought I'd post my thoughts on the new Smash (or Ultimate, as it's now known) before the Direct airs. And let's start with the big one... literally "the big one"... RIDLEY Sakurai you madman. After his comments on why Ridley wasn't playable in Smash 4 I certainly did not expect to see him playable in this entry. But the moment that last trailer started and I saw that walkway, I knew it was him. And you know what; I think Sakurai did a pretty good job. He's menacing, savage and some his specials are really perfect for him like his side special (didn't

Super Smash Bros. Switch and my thoughts

Super Smash Bros. Switch and my thoughts

Well, it's been a long time... I remember saying many years that I was gonna make a journal post about how I thought about the Robin reveal for Smash, but I never ended up doing it. After Smash 4 released I drifted away from DeviantArt for a good while I started discussing Smash elsewhere, such as Nintendo Everything and SourceGaming (whom I've written several articles for). But now a new Smash Bros. game is about to be shown at this year's E3, and I really wanted to discuss my thoughts on my predictions for it, as well as discussing my Top 5 Most Wanted (and addressing some things regarding it for Smash 4). So without further ado, let's get

So I just watched Making Fiends...

So I just watched Making Fiends...

Originally my next journal post was gonna be about Robin in Smash, but since the game's already out and my thoughts were meant to be posted on him before the game came out, I guess I can wait a little longer for that. =P Recently when I was discussing ideas for a Nickelodeon-themed project with a fellow friend on dA, it became increasingly apparent how many Nicktoons I've never actually seen. At that point I'd never seen El Tigre, The Ren & Stimpy Show, Invader Zim, TUFF Puppy, or even Danny Phantom! But there was one particular obscure Nicktoon I had never seen that I been starting to notice being brought up several times to me: Making

Yep. I'm most likely buying it tomorrow.
Forgive me for being late on this, but happy birthday my good friend! Hope you're having fun.

So, what do you make of all the info that's been coming out of the japanese demos? (Fierce Diety Link!!!)

Thank you. 20th birthdays net you a lot of money and chocolate it seems, if you don't have any idea what you want for a present. ;)

Demos. Hmm... I only know a few things about what I've seen, but pretty much all I know about it is awesome stuff. Fierce Deity Link palette (never played MM, but still a great choice), White Charizard, Fire Rosalina, Meta Knight-coloured Kirby, and Alph being an alt and not a clone, all awesome. Fox's Wolf palette, not so much.

Also did you hear on Neogaf about some Nintendo of France employee accidentally confirming Chorus Men on Twitter? Or was that just a dud?
Are you feeling it now, MagcargoMan? Because I'm really feeling it!
