This is Wepesi the Fastest in Khamani's Lion Guard, brother of Ukatili, father of Njano, and grandfather of Mega. His name means "swiftness" in Swahili.

The Story:

Wepesi was chosen to be a part of Khamani's Lion Guard along with his brother Ukatili. He proudly served in the guard until a rockslide killed all the members except himself and Kuono, the Keenest of Sight. Wepesi never recovered from the death of his brother and comrades and his health deteriorated until he died a few days before Ahadi and Uru did.
