VICTORY IN ALOLA

The Alola Region today announced that the crisis triggered by Team Skull has reached a successful resolution.

Professor Kukui held a conference just after sunset to announce this positive development.

“Alola is relieved to announce that Team Skull, the perpetrators of the crisis, were able to resolve their internal struggle following some external assistance. If not for those heroes of the hour, Alola would be sinking further into anarchy and chaos...”

Professor Kukui was able to confirm that the civil strife within Team Skull was the cause of the crisis. He cannot confirm further rumours and allegations that has emerged from the crisis but did state that the dispute spilled over into the public view of Alola to the point that daily life and vital infrastructure within the region was severely disrupted.

RECONSTRUCTION A PRIORITY FOR REGION

“As all parties are aware,” Professor Kukui continued, “”the Alola Region has suffered much as a result of the of this civil war within Team Skull. As a result, daily life and living within the Alola region has been severely disrupted.”

“From the assessments that I have made from corresponding with the leadership within the Alola Region, we would require immense efforts and resources to conduct a reconstruction of the region. Many have commented that the devastation in the region is the worst they have ever experienced. It maybe an understatement to say that the devastation visited on Alola is the worst ever in our history.”

“In consulting with the Trial Captains and the Kahunas of the Island,” Professor Kukui summarized, “It is of great interest for Alola to make it a priority to commence reconstruction activities to restore our region to its former glory and ensure daily life and society can finally resume.

TEAM SKULL TO CEASE CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES IN RETURN FOR AMNESTY

Professor Kukui had in fact had a surprise announcement in connection with the reconstruction efforts that would be conducted in Alola.

“This is a unique opportunity for all parties and levels of society in the region to get together and rebuild Alola as well as strengthen the bonds that make our people closer and intimate with our Pokémon and with one another. It also presents a chance for those who thought were sidelined by our society to prove that they are a worthy and valued member of our society, willing to do their part to rebuild and contribute to our Alolan society in ways we have never thought of before.”

“Following discussions with the Trial Captains and the Kahunas, it is with generous grace and mercy that we extend an offer of amnesty to every member of our local criminal organisation known as Team Skull.”

The Professor’s announcement raised some eyebrows, and gasps were heard from several attendees. Professor Kukui continued, “This amnesty comes with the promise that Team Skull will disband, or at the least cease their criminal activities, as well as for their members complying with the condition. We believe that in giving these individuals this amnesty we are offer them a light and a light to those who have turned to crime and mischief to start anew with a life being productive members of our community.”

“Alola may have been ravaged by the civil war coming from Team Skull, but it has not affected our way of life nor our values,” Professor Kukui said, “ We seek to rebuild and reforge our region as it was once was, and we hope to do it with these members of Team Skull who we hope see this as their chance to be valued contributors to our community in this vital time.”

SKULL LEADERSHIP TO ASSIST IN FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS

While it is clear that the rank and file of Team Skull would take up the offer of amnesty and seek to start their lives anew, there are various reports indicating that the senior leadership may have to wait a little longer before they are formally offered the same.

Professor Kukui did confirm some of the suspicion, “We have uncovered some evidence implicating the some of the members of Team Skull to some matters of interest, especially among its leadership. As to assist in ongoing investigations, we have requested and remanded several members to assist in further investigations. We gave assurances that they would be not be incriminated by their cooperation, in fact would appreciate whatever information or assistance they would forward to us.”

“We do hope that in assisting us, these members of Team Skull would help us in understanding these recent events and hopefully allow for more positive future possibilities.”

Rumours have indicated that those detained are Skull Boss Guzma, Skull Administrator Plumeria and Skull Enforcer Gladion.
