Wow, 400 Watchers! I am so honored! Thank you all so much for your support! m(_ _)m
I've been working really hard to get this model built in time for this and she's finally finished. I've been wanting to rebuild and upgrade Luka for a long time, and she has a lot of improvements now. Basically, I started over with a new base that I built for her. Over 18MB has been trimmed from her package. Gone are all the extra bones and parts [Well, in one version of her - the other one has more bones than ever. Just read on, you'll see why...], her textures have all been optimized, and her hair set's parts have been remeshed and reworked to make it fit better and look much more natural. To be quite honest, I'm proudest of all of the work done on her hair set to make it finally fit "right". ^_^

Aside from her hair, the other most noticeable change about her is cacti-sloom's wonderful Tda Curious Face edit. I decided to try it out on her just to see what it would look like on a Luka model. That being said, I also have to admit that I really had my doubts at first about using this face with Luka mainly because of how incredibly cute it is, and she turned out way better than I thought she would. I honestly didn't expect these amazing results, but she's a definite keeper so Kawaii Luka it is!

Size, face, and hair comparisons can be seen here. As you can see, it's hard to tell at a glance, but she really is quite different now.

You see, here's the thing: Luka is usually portrayed as being more sultry than she is cute. You know, sexy instead of sweet; beautiful as opposed to pretty. It's not very easy to explain, but I'm pretty sure you get what I mean. In any case, this face actually suited her very nicely and worked far better than I thought it would with her because it's extremely cute in a young adult sort of way, and I think that works out quite well when you take into consideration the simple fact that Luka is only supposed to be 20 years old.

Seriously, I personally think that this face edit is probably one of the freshest things I've ever seen. Tda models have desperately needed something like this for a very long time, and I'm expecting [hoping] to see a lot of new edits using this face in the upcoming year ahead. =D (Big Grin)

Right, then. Moving along to Luka's details:

There are 2 versions of her in this package. One is the 'standard' Luka, but the other one, the "AR" version of her is very, very special, indeed. What makes it so special? She breathes with no intervention on your part required at all. Load her in MMD, and she stands there and, well, breathes. You can also control her breathing rate with sliders. It's pretty cool.

(...and here you guys thought I'd gotten over mucking about with frame modding and started building 'normal' models...HAH!

Actually, she was built as a proof-of-concept to help obtain details needed for a friend's project. I really hate the thought of a perfectly good model going to waste be it a test version or not, so I thought I'd include her in the package. I'd also like to extend my thanks to Trackdancer for featuring this Luka in his tutorial that teaches you how to install the AutoBreathe Mod.
