There are some days when I look through my work and just feel like a total talentless hack.
Just sayin'. But I think everyone has those days.
The status quo prevails. I want to do some more experimental stuff, I think. Maybe just mess around and not worry about trying to make something. We'll see how far I get.
I'm really hoping this year ends up being better than the last one. So far things are starting out mixed. I got a phone interview for a job I really want, but it turns out my health insurance isn't sorted out like I thought it was. Also getting a doctor around here is proving to be difficult since they either don't take my insurance or aren't accepting new patients. Ugh.
If anyone reads this, I hope you'll send me some prayers/well wishes/good vibes about getting this job. It would clear up alot of my problems (and leave me with some time to work on my art...).
I worked my first black Friday retail shift. I'm going to go crawl in a hole and die now. Honestly, though, I had a massive string of polite, patient customers who smiled and joked even after waiting hours in the freezing rain. Kudos to those guys who made my nearly 12 hour shift pretty enjoyable.
