Description
This is the finished watercolour.
The original photograph was of Derren Brown tossing the lottery balls, but I felt it could be improved... The main thing I didn't like was that the photo no longer looked like Mr Brown, so I searched for some good pics of him and then made some adjustments (to make him more as he is - good looking). Of course, the lottery balls were far too normal for such an enigmatic man, so in went the skulls (I took mine off my skelington and painted it in various light sources to match the portrait -nb I looked not unlike Hamlet for an hour).
Didn't stretch the paper (all boards and stretchers in use) so had to resort to watercolour pencils for background, but that actually turned out fine - they granulate and backrun amazingly well.
It's not the highest quality and my beloved is going to photograph it tomorrow so that maybe (if I can find the photographer of the original and "aks" him) I can sell it as a print.
