Just know that I am still alive, and no, I have neither forgotten you, nor run off with your money. Going into the "Commission Extravaganza", there was a small piece of information I had yet to share: I owed my Patrons and Donors some THIRTY pages of comics. That's over-and-above the 6 main commissions I took. But also, substantially BEFORE I took those jobs. After a long struggle with technology, nerves and scheduling, I now FINALLY have the lineart done for most of those. However, in addition to doing the inking and coloring MYSELF on my main comics, "Ship in a Bottle" and "The Lavenders", I must also now ink and color those additional pages as well. So, what I am saying is, I am trying to schedule your delinquent commissions between those pages, but my health hasn't exactly been tip-top since January 1, and sadly, I still have a "Day Job" that prohibits me from spending 8 hours a day just doing this. Now, that said, I DID finish UncolaMan's "Ship in a Bottle" related dealie back in February. And with Oshigan's help, I am constructing the reference sheet of Susan so she looks the same as our version in the "BGR" comic. So, that'll be one more "oldie" off the plate. Next will be BLADEDGE's, followed by the page for ninjamon, Kim's new RP character, Nel's Persona 5 inspired thing, and so on. Basically, just hang in there a wee bit longer. I'm getting there, but I got mya ss kicked by a respiratory infection again on my days off this week, so I'm over here dying, but not dead, yet. I'll keep you posted.

If you're still wondering where the hell your commission is, it's coming. Soon. I promise. There's been a few things going on that everyone should be aware of. And one of those things is, I AM working on them. Specifically, I have a slate of 27 comic pages I am working on dating back to 3 years ago. It's a bit of a collaborative effort, but in terms of "owing", these are the highest priority due to age. And I have very limited time thanks in no small part to my "Day Job". Actually, I think the total is 35... at any rate, we've knocked the total down to 30, but that's still THIRTY comic pages. All of which I am inking and coloring myself (with the help of a penciler). So, yeah.
Secondly, I have contracts already signed to make several animated features. That is a MONUMENTAL task as I am literally the proverbial "holdup" on this one. i.e. I am the asset creator. They can't construct the film without me. By the way: if you'd like to help us get the funding so we can hire our actors in good faith, here's this old thing. You get a mention in the credits and early access to the final movie when it is complete. Since production has already begun, I'd say that will be "soon" as well. Possibly before the end of Summer.

Noooo, I haven't forgotten you. But, please understand that, like so many artists, when all of my anxiety stress points collide, I hit a kind of paralysis. It's temporary, and you WILL get your stuff. Few things: #1) I didn't make enough in commissions so far to cover even 1/100th of my expenses so far. I got a little "leg up", but it was very short-lived. You'll note I am not flogging away at the "commissions slots" because I actually consider it unethical to keep taking on more and more and more commissions when I have made this little progress on what I have. This is made all the more daunting because I have all this labor to do, and no additional income as of yet. #2) my workspace is, or rather WAS a disaster. I finally got some semblance of control on my apartment, and I am "phasing out my hoard", so to speak. I'm not that big a hoarder per se, but I do tend to keep more than I need around. That has finally been at least 80% organized, and I have a fantastic workspace (finally). Plus, I moved my art workstation, got the Internet routed to it (I have no money for wireless, but I had a TON of old wired equipment laying around) and I am set there. #3) Tax season. It always creeps up on me, and since I am a one-man-operation, I am extremely nervous about making sure I have my books right. Keep in mind, I ALSO have a full-time (not part-time) job, that exhausts me to no end. So, when you factor job, commissions and THEN taxes? I'm fucking useless for about a month. I am also doing my own taxes this year and e-filing. Pray for me.
Here's what IS going on:
I owe.... about 23 comic pages across three platforms. UncolaMan is a HUGE sponsor behind that, and I am gradually making arrangements to settle that.
SPECIFICALLY: Oshigan is belting out "sketchpages" (as he calls them. Effectively, he is the Penciller) of the BGR final chapter to Book I he commissioned. I will ink and color, if it kills me. I worked with Oshi and Verias on the Cover and Page 1. There are 13 more to go.
I am MOST LIKELY going to work AGAIN with Oshigan on pages 3-9 of "Episode 3.5" of Ship in a Bottle. Some funds will free up in the coming months as I have most of the remaining Chapter 4 pages "in the can" from the original series artists. I will be re-using those pages with some dialog tweaks and plaot-point alterations to make it align with what I refer to as "New Canon".
We still owe FIVE pages of Frilly Pink that were pre-paid. That is a collaborative effort between me, BlackWalker80 and Verias. Since all of the funding went toward studio operating costs that were overdue, I am savagely trying to acquire new revenue streams to get that finished as originally promised.
As for Specific Commissioners:
UncolaMan: I still owe you that Eloise character reference sheet. That is my first priority to you BEFORE we do anything with the caption contest (which I believe you need to pick our three winners for, if I recall the terms correctly).
BLADEDGE: I have not forgotten you, my friend. I've been vainly doodling in what spare time I've had. I realize this is bordering on unreasonable, but I walked away, temporarily, because I couldn't get Beatrice hanging upside-down the way I want. It sounds silly, but I am fussy about shit like that.
Ninjamon: I'll start it as soon as I can. I not only have a balance I desperately need to collect (when I complete this), but we also have what? 4 more pages planned? This is one I WANT to do. It's actually pretty adorable, and I think the fans will really like it. (as a reminder, I post all commissions to DA if the content will allow)
Kim: As a longtime patron and friend, you're a special priority as well. Nothing more need be said. I just need to do it.
Nel: Same for you, buddy. I know I've been giving you all kinds of "extras" on Discord for being as awesome as you've been, but you're also a client.
