Charlotte laughed with her friends as the small group walked down the trail. In her hands she held two bags, each filled with candy. While the first bag was of course her own, she wanted to insure that Phillip and Milo get some candy since the group left the two behind while Phillip was being fussy about his costume. She was going to make a remark about a dumb joke Malekai said, when she took notice of another folk, holding a bag and a sign that read “Candy Donations for Lola Mae”. Now she was aware of the crimes of Lola Mae, that she created candy and some of them caused mutations and worst of all…blights. She had personal feelings about the candy blighting innocent folk, after all her family was affected by blights. She never met her parents because of what blights do to folk, granted her Grandparents did a fantastic job and she felt they fill the void that her parents probably would of. But her feelings towards blights remained complicated because of how horribly aware she is one
