Oh.
My.
God.
The venue was small, the panel room was hot, the area was shady...
And this con couldn't have been full of more fun, friendly or just plain fascinating people.
This one day con in new york blew my mind apart. The amount of work that went into it before it's inception was staggering and the result was awe striking. This relatively small place, what could easily be called a flat or a large studio apartment was jam packed with awesome artists, amazing models, versatile stores and amazing individuals all. I met many artists I've only known online in person, got to talk with some of the oldest members of the communities, and I drew. BOY did I draw.
The con was in an iffy neighborhood to be sure, but it was tucked away and private so we didn't have to concern ourselves with being ousted. There was free food, an open bar, engaging and fun paneling, diverse attendance, and I do not exaggerate the numbers, this event sold out and it showed it, there was barely wiggle room at times and it was perfect, just like a SIZEcon should be! Every member here was friendly, talkative, and more often than not entertaining, insightful, or just pleasant. We had attendees from all over america, and even a couple from out of the states! I got to meet people across communities, and draw tons of size pictures :3
My con in particular was just a blast. I got to participate in a pair of amazing panels, and drew ad nauseum to do in-con pay what you want sketch commissions. Every person who got one was pleased with it and paid more generously than I would have ever hoped. I got to talk to people who were fans, colleagues and just people who didn't know much about the community at all. I got to draw a more diverse group of content than I have in ages (admittedly, a lotta people loved that 3B's shape I gave suki and asked for the same, and there were a lotta SW pics too! ) and after what was easily a straight DAY of drawing my hand is still itching for more.
This con was a complete success, and I can't wait for the next one. I will support this endeavour and promote it however I can. This con showed me that our crazy little fetish niche could be something more, that we could feel a sense of camaraderie and friendship like people over any common interest. I hope that this convention can keep going, and will pick up steam. I'd love to see a two-day con next year, I'm very sad it has to end now.
As I board the train to go home I feel heaviness in my heart. I hope I can keep up with all the nice people I met here this weekend and keep pumping out new fun content for everybody. I also hope that all those who watch will give the potential of joining this convention next year a greater consideration, and that I may have a chance to meet some of you in a safe environment.
Cheers all!

MABO'S STORE IS REOPENED!
EDIT: OF COURSE ALMOST THE MOMENT I MAKE THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, IT OPENS BACK UP!!! SHEESSSSH I will update the storefront posts as well, but here is a link to the store and it SHOULD be back in fighting form! I hope you'll peruse my wares and see what you like!
Heartbreak, it seems that my store will not be opened for awhile because of an issue with the database of the IRS not being able to verify my information. I'm sorry things are down, but the SECOND I can open it back up, I will! Thank you for understanding, keep an eye out for it!
It's My Birthday!
I made it to 33!
Huzzah!
I just can't tell everybody how much it means to be a part of these communities, I'm so happy to be involved in a number of communities that have given me kind, respectful and fun people. I want to make more and more things, and have so many big things on the horizon always. Thanks for sticking with me through the ups and downs of my ridiculous life, thank you for your supports, and thank you all for enjoying my work and wanting to see more. It's for myself that I create, it's for you all that I share
