This is the Full Moon, as seen from a Silicon Valley backyard in Northern California, on 20070502. This is my largest sized photo of the Moon so far, hopefully then very useful as stock for compositions ... please use this photo freely as you may like.
The camera used was a EOS 1Ds Mk II DSLR, and the "lens" was a Apex 127mm aperture Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope. This provides a "super telephoto" of 1250 mm at f/12.1, which is just perfect for lunar photography.
