"Orrore Italiano" racconta le vicende di Karnifex, l'assassino la cui identità cambia a ogni avventura.
Chi si cela dietro la maschera antigas e la tuta dai sinistri disegni stilizzati? Perchè è sempre un uomo diverso, e perchè l'uniforme si adegua nell'aspetto alla sua personalità?
Ma che si tratti di un politico ambizioso, di un poliziotto corrotto, di un affarista spietato o di uno studente possessivo, una cosa non cambia: la maschera libera i loro istinti peggiori, spezzando qualunque freno inibitorio e facendo emergere l'uomo corrotto che si cela dietro una facciata di rispettabilità.
