NOTES

It's him! The Keeper of Primus!
The same mech who was seen (and died?) in G1 Marvel US #61, "The Primal Scream".

This whole sequence was vaguely inspired by the classic Saint Seiya battles.
The "one hundred decacycle trial" is a reference to the One Thousand Days Battle that takes place when two Gold Saints fight.

Last time someone fired a shot there ended up waking up Primus and rushed the hunt for the matrix due to Unicron being alerted.

I remember those robes anywhere! XD
I find it intriguing that the Autobot would be the one to kill the Keeper. XD Nice story so far! :D

I forgot to mention that the "morality switch" of the characters is based on classic "Holy Grail quest" stories. This whole comic is about the same thing, because it was Simon Furman's original plan!
Anyway, in those quests often the good guy turned out as a fanatic and the bad guy showed a bit of decency at the most desperate of times.
Of course, one of those stories belongs to the Martin Mystère saga, for which I write another fancomic at :iconmartin-mystere:
This one is great because it's endorsed by the creator!

Strangely, no one wanted to feature that guy anywhere else so far!

It could be that it's because in himself, he isn't that interesting a character - he was a vehicle to deliver the (a) TF origin story. Also, his clothing isn't very compatible with the general TF looks.

Awesome. I remember that guy! Wasn't he the guy who watched over Primus?

That's him: apparently killed by a ricochet blast...but how can such a being die?
I'm betting he could be one of the Thirteen.
