"From what I remember, and I really disliked that stuff so I didn't bother to read it more than twice, everybody in the Senate was evil/corrupted or stupid beyond logic. It was so generic that it looked like the whole system, to me. The few "decent" characters looked like the exception to the rule."
Sums up pretty damn well about the comics since Simon Furman got kicked off, and before they brought in James Roberts, John Barber, Nick Roche, Chris Metzen & Flint Dille.
