Nerf Barricade Mod

My second Nerf gun mod.

Now available for purchase on etsy!:…

A Nerf Barricade which i am particularly satisfied with. I will be using this for a LARP scenario set in the Firefly universe.

As i constantly seem to forget how many shots i have left in the barrel, I wrote numbers on each dart slot to make it easier to keep track of my reload count down.

Modification list:

- Trigger mod (motor on/off activated by trigger).
- Voltage mod (takes either 3x standard or 2x 4.2V trustfire batteries).
- LED-Display Voltmeter mod (continuously updating display showing the current total battery voltage. This is turned on/off with the rewired power switch).

- Leather wrapped handle for optimal grip.
- Custom paint job. Worn metal with some parts kept in black.
- Barrel in yellow/black tilted lines for each dart spot with the numbers 1-10 written in Kanji (yes, they are sideways since they should be readable from both sides).

My primary weapon for the same scenario can be found here...

Would you be willing to take on a commission to replicate this mod and how much would you charge?

Glad that you like my mod, and flattered that you want one.

I am way too busy to do mods at the moment, so can't really take on the task.

However, since I don't use my blasters, I have actually been considering to auction the originals.
This Barricade, and the Nitron linked in the description.

Your interest is noted, and I will make sure to let you know if/when I get time to set up an auction for this gun.

Hi again,

I have now put this piece up for sale on etsy.
Won't make any more of them, so only this one available.

Just thought you should know =)…

This is a fantastic mod. I love the paintjob and the voltmeter idea is genius. Now I know what I'm going to try doing with my barricade.

Glad you like it =)

Good luck with your own modding.
The voltmeter is actually quite easy to install and connect.
You can get them of ebay for very little money but with ~3 weeks shipping time.
