I know it's not perfect but to be honest I really don't know how I could achieve this result because I've never painted anything realistic. I usually don't even try to paint anything realistic because I know I'm not good at it - I don't have right imagination of shadows and lights etc. But I think this is really good - for me - and I'm very proud of it. Hair is not realistic because I didn't want to ruin it So I was inspired by Laura H. Rubin art and did hair only black. But I like it anyway.
It's painted in Procreate - iPad PRO - by photo from Google (I just realized that it's a poster of movie or series on Netflix but it wasn't meant as fanart) and I spent about 10 hours doing it.

Looks good! I especially like how you did the lips here. I think if you want it to look more realistic, you could add a little more texture/irregularities to the skin. When it's very smooth like it is here, it reads as less real. But for someone who says they've never done anything realistic, this is an excellent first attempt! : )
