Three words. Then silence. I sighed in frustration as the words failed me. I dragged my hand over my face and stared at the screen. I stretched out my hand and deleted the words. With my elbows on the table I put my chin in my hands and continued to stare at the screen. The scent of coffee met me before I saw the cup in the corner of my eye.
“You have been staring at that screen for three hours straight now. Take a break.” the voice of my colleague met me. I took the cup of coffee before I span around my chair to face him.
“And I have seen you erasing every word you have put on that screen. You need a break.” he continued and smiled as I blew the steam from my coffee before taking a sip. I hummed in enjoyment as the black liquid hit my tongue. A small laugh left him.
