So life has gotten marginally less weird (apart from the bat in the basement...working on that) and I'm feeling the urge to sketch again...but at the same time sort of daunted by the blank and my almost certain rustiness after not drawing for so long.Anyone have suggestions/requests?

I read about http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7188860.stm over at the BBC site, and my first thought was 'they had a heliocentric *debate* in 1990?'  It appears the previous pope publicly regretted Galileo's trial, while the current found it 'just and reasonable.'  Isn't really enough article for me to tell if it really is as nuts as it sounds.But it did get me digging around http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_Galilei#Church_controversy to learn more about Galileo's trial.  Its basis was a disagreement between a man devoutly trying to understand reality, and another threatening to kill him to avoid appearing ignorant.  The trial wasn't ...

As the credits rolled in Phoenix Wright 2, found that the producer was Atsushi Inaba, aka former CEO of Clover, current head of Seeds.  Hideki Kamiya also worked with him on PW3, which makes me even more eager to get my hands on it.  Had i known that this series was by the creators of Okami, I would have gone rabid fangirl much sooner.  As it is I am phoning around trying to find a store with a copy of PW3, while assembling my Phoenix & Miles paper dolls: http://kotaku.com/gaming/phoenix-wright/papercraft-phoenix-wright-256230.phpEDIT:  Done with PW3: Trials & Tribulations, and was not as impressed as I was with the first two.  The villain...
