Uhhhh... are there now ads on DeviantART that can't be muted? Because I have just experienced five of them in rapid succession and I am not pleased.

I'm now a two-year veteran of quasi-adulthood and it doesn't feel like I'm doing well at it at all. I want desperately to be creative and productive and yet there are all of these insidious things demanding my time, things I haven't learned to juggle, things I never even took into consideration as a teenager, living with my extremely accommodating parents. How are those of you in a mid-college time in your life faring? (Also I feel like there should be a Mood Icon of a little gumball person just straight exploding with chaos. Because that's kind of more like my emotions.)

Hello all! I've decided to take a break from a truly murderous take-home exam for Ornithology to bring you this mildly interesting news! Recently I have decided that I'd like to start experimenting artistically with different, and potentially upsetting, subject matter. Animal rights activism and environmental education are topics extremely dear to my heart, and they are subjects that have become so fundamental to my personal view of myself that keeping them out of my art and writing feels wrong.
