The backgrounds are so amazing! Teach me senpai!
oh wow thanks! You're too kind ^^
I have a lot to improve myself :c
I see you're new so uh, what can I say.. I guess a good way to improve is to do a lot of studies, even  if it's just rocks it's good! Also practice, practice and more practice! About that...I should practice more landscapes myself >.<
ey ey, just because I'm new here doesn't mean I'm new to art XD and I'm getting tired of the just practice, the pro's really don't like giving out their secrets, eh? XD
I mean I'm not a pro,really-I sort of jump into something and do studies as I work on the picture :c I just look at other people's work, photographs etc and try to understand what makes it look good and try to achieve the same result-sometimes it works- most times it doesn't >.<

I still need to figure it all out myself, what I've understood so far is that composition is key ( still no clue how to actually translate that into  my pictures ) and also using values correctly to represent depth--I've watched a few yt videos from Istebrak  ( you can find them here www.youtube.com/user/Istebrak/… ), she explains about depth, atmosphere and also composition.
So ye, you have to learn the theory first and then practice practice
