Zebra Bodypaint

A friend of mine has been doing the Special Effects course this year and one of the assessment was body/face art/painting, so on one Friday morning/afternoon I sat down at the studio and got painted as a Zebra.

It was done in a more stylistic "Cirque du Soleil" theme with bold stripe patterns, with blue highlights to complement the blue in the hairpiece and tail, and to make the design stand out a bit more than just the black and white.

A spikey collar, some equine ears and hooves complete the Zebra character.

After all the prep and painting was done for 5 hours, we hit the streets outside and had a photoshoot session. It was certainly a good time to stretch out after sitting still for so long in the studio. Interestingly people seems to be too busy on the streets to even notice a zebra running about.
