40k: Tesla the Warrior

EDIT: I've gotten really sick of the idiotic flame "Your art is crap" comments I've been getting on this piece of art. I KNOW it's not the best art ever. I am still learning. If you can't offer anything constructive your comments will be hidden and ignored. HE IS NOT A FURRY. HE IS A REGULAR BIONCALLY ENHANCED DOG. NOT A FURRY. Tesla. I think this may be the best digital colour job I've done to date. Brushes I used were for blood and grunge only, everything else is done by hand, save the aquila in the back and the Arbites symbol on the second purity seal (Which is a brush I made). All the details on the seals etc are completely done by hand. I'll have a detail deviation up soon. I'm requesting critiques on this since it's my first time trying an overpainring and any advice would be loved. I'm going to copy and paste the description from the original sketch.

To the people who asked why you would add bionics to a corgi, I think the answer should be pretty clear now.

I've copied the description from the last deviation, however I've added more information as there seemed to be some debate as to how Tesla exists and how his armour exists.

This is Tesla, the trusty Bionicorgi of the Arbite Judge Lindsey Connors. (( more Tesla at [link] , [link] and [link] )) He was created as a pet project by the Magos Biologis Adelaide von Sommer, who is a centuries old Magos who enjoys upgrading living creatures. She was given to Inquisitor Hironymous Dalk who is a fan of Bionicorgis. At the time he was working with Lindsey and her Partner, deeply embroiled in a case fraught with the worst of heresies. He gave Tesla to Allen Fields (both played by ~Neflame) who gave Tesla as a gift to his partner, Lindsey Connors. The armour was especially designed for Tesla by a Magos Technicus who is a friend of Adelaide after Lindsey was inducted into the Inquisition under Lord High Inquisitor Horatio Yorik Gildenstern, whom is a friend of Dalk.

Tesla is no ordinary corgi. He has be heavily modified with bionics to make him stronger, faster, smarter, and tougher. He can bite through bone and his perception is unrivaled. YOu can see his left eye is bionic in this picture. His left ear was sliced by a power sword, and he was lucky not to lose it.

Linsey and Tesla have been together a long time, and I had previously put him in power armour (seen here: [link] ) but it was a shitty design that I came up with on the fly. This time I referenced the Illustrated Cardigan Corgi Breed Standard to get the anatomy right so I could make more accurate armour.

Tesla is a BAMF. Just for the record. He is ALWAYS at Lindsey's side, and is undyingly loyal to her. She'd be lost without him, and he plays an important role in battles. Lindsey is Mind cleansed, and doesn't remember much about her past. SHe has the files about the case that caused her to be deemed necessary to be Mind Cleansed, but refuses to read them. Tesla is always there for her when she is troubled, or when memories nag at the edges of her mind.
