i have a bunch of different versions that i'll submit to my scraps sometime too. most significantly, i have a 7680x4800 print version that's still outrageously antialiased - if anyone plans to actually buy one i'd appreciate a note beforehand 
a glowing purple-striped background was going to be included, but early tests kinda sucked. besides that it may detract from the neat-looking object a bit too much. and i really really really really ought to be studying a lot more anyway instead of making neat backgrounds
having said that, this is mostly recycled/reworked stuff i had lying around since mid-2006...
