My dog just died, hiks. He was still healthy this morning and yesterday he was just fine. When I was going to church, he suddenly went into spasm. So I took care of him instead all this day. He looked better this noon (no more spasm) so I think he's going to make it (he is very old after all, 15 years old). But when I was take a leak (his bed is beside the toilet), he was suddenly howling. I thought he was thirsty so I brought some water and soak his tongue (he's in no condition to drink). After howling several more times, he stopped breathing (T__T)

Now I think again, may be that howl is his way of telling me that he's going to die. He's using his last strength to tell me (it was very loud despite his condition). RIP Darwin (my dog's name). I love you.
I'm so happy today ^o^

Today my ordered Figma Black Rock Shooter has just arrived. Well that alone is enough to make me jump in joy. But there's a bonus for me. Actually, I want to import this straight from Japan, but I was late and I was forced to order it from local store (albeit a bit more expensive).

But I never thought that it's actually bring luck to me. Along with this Figma BRS, also bundled the 50 minutes Black Rock Shooter Original Animation, Black Rock Shooter OVA (>o<)/ I guess I got some kind of limited edition or perhaps 100 or so first edition of Figma BRS that include the bonus disc.

To add more joy, at first I though this is going to be Japanese voice only with no subs (since this is a Japanese merchandise). But when I watched the DVD, there's an English sub! I'm crying in joy (not liberality, since I don't want my family to think I'm going crazy).

Awww, sucks, Indonesia team lost 0-3 to Malaysia. Just like the newspaper (or rather a person) predicts. Guess he's even better than Paul...

There's been a laser incident that stop the match twice (and some fireworks that managed to get slip in by Malaysia supporters). This laser also "rumored" to be one of the reason Vietnam lose in such a grand manner. No concrete evidence, but the goal keeper's eyes are permanently damaged (though not too severe, he's not blind).

Still, I don't believe the Indonesia team would play THAT badly just because of that... Oh well, what can I say. Just suck it up, right? We have one more match to go!

AFF Suzuki Cup Final this Sunday (at 7PM GMT +07:00)

For you who don't know what it is, AFF Cup is kinda like Soccer League for South East Asia. The sponsor is Suzuki (I'm not spamming here) and the tournament is held every [s]5[/s] 2 years (now is 2010, the last event is [s]1995[/s] 1998, which is won by Vietnam). Obviously, all South East Asia countries participate in this events, and the strong "past" ones are [s]Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam[/s] Thailand, Singapore, and obviously, Vietnam as the last cup winner. Indonesia (my country) is not that weak too, they often reach semi-finals... it's just they haven't win again for quite some time now...

This week is the final (against Malaysia), and there are two matches. December 26th in Malaysia and December 29th in Indonesia. Why I'm posting this here? I'm not a big soccer fan, but this year, Indonesia soccer team (my country) suddenly got a power boost with the arrival of two new player. They are not weak before, it's just they don't have strong offensive players. That's why with the arrival of these new players, their play can get really dangerous.

BTW, both Philippines and Malaysia also got a sudden boost of power. For Philliphines, it because they have 9 additional good players just recently (they're going to be a deadly opponents at next cup). While Malaysia, I don't know...

So now my country could finally have hopes to win the cup again, after so long... Until now, they have show us a great result, defeating Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and other countries with relative ease. They even defeat Laos [s]5-0[/s] 6-0. How can I'm not proud with them?

This final is more than a soccer team for both countries. It's a revenge event since we beat Malaysia 4-1 at last cup. And with lots of dispute between two countries lately. It's also about the pride of both countries...

Notes: My county soccer team is strong in South East Asia, but quite weak in Asia, since there are Korea, Japan, and China out there... (those are regular participants of World Cup, what do you expect?)

EDIT: some correction due to my mistake in information. Thanks to grim_reaper for correcting them.

After perhaps more than 5 months of waiting, my pre-ordered Saber Alter finally arrived at my doorstep. I immediately unwrapped it and wow... it really worth the wait (though I could wait for less time if I ordered at different site -_- ).

And what makes me more surprised and delighted is in what MAX gives me. Perhaps because I'm already used to what BANDAI usually gives me when I buy their toys (especially, in this case, SHF series, since I think it's the most comparable ones... I won't compared SIC with FIGMA). That BANDAI charges more for something less... and saying Kamen Rider is a famous show isn't an excuse since Fate/Stay Night is a popular show too.

FIGMA... I think I'm going to love you and PO even more of you guys... errr, I mean girls ^_^

This is a quest journal for Rising-Crowns
Kingdom: Veratus
Teacher: Fraulien G Marridan
Skill: Aviation
Ability: Flying Pilot, Aircraft Technician, Ace Wing

Requirement(s): :star:
The following quests require character to be of the first rank.

Forewords:
Yo! Welcome to my school, I am Fraulien Geofreed Marridan, the master of this school. That means I own this school. Hahaha…
Why aviation you said? Simple, we live in Veratus, a kingdom with lots of mountains. Flying is our main mean of transportation, so mastering aviation is kind of a must for its citizen. Aviation is your best bet as your first batch of quest… errr I mean when you want to pick ability to master. Trust me!

Quest 1: Registration
I see that you are interested in aviation? Good, good. Anyway, before you could begin your training regime here, you must complete the registration process.
First, fill out this form. Easy peasy, right? Answer honestly and don’t try to be a clown.
Second, pass the physical flight. What’s that? It’s a medical examination to check whether you are airworthy or not. Who’s the physician? Me, of course. C’mon, get naked! Now!
Third, pay 50.000 gold coins. Too expensive? Do you think flying is a cheap business? Aircraft is cheap here in Veratus, unfortunately we are also famous for flying-related deaths, especially FUI (Flying Under Influence)… and since I’m fully responsible for your well being when you’re in these courses, I’ve decided to include life insurance in this form. So you could rest in peace if you’re dead in this course since your family will be well compensated. Aren’t you glad? Hahaha…

* Writer: Write a story about why your character chooses to participate in Aviation course. A background story of your character would be nice… whatever it is, make sure your character have a good reason to join the school. Remember that in Veratus, there’s only one Aviation master (which is Fraulien), but passing the course is not vital to acquire a pilot license.
* Artist: Draw your character (or with several other participants) in one of the three steps. Or you could draw the reaction of your character when hearing that he/she must pay that huge amount of money or when Fraulien tells him/her the insurance joke. Or you could also draw your character working so hard to collect the needed money. BG is not required, line-art allowed (but no sketch).

Quest 2: Principles of Flight
Welcome to this school. I’m Fraulien Geofreed Marridan, your master. I will drill how to fly deep inside your head… drill... hehehehe… cough, never mind (no one laughs… bummer)
Before we go out there and fly… What exactly is a flight? No one knows? Flight is the process by which an object moves either through the air, or movement beyond earth's atmosphere, by generating lift, propulsive thrust or aerostatically using buoyancy, or by simple ballistic movement.
Hard to remember? It is. Since we are not flying creatures by nature, we have to fully understand the principles of flying… with our brain, not our body. So, you all must read and memorize this 600 pages textbook about that. Too much? What a pity, since you also need to read this 500 pages of aviation terminology textbook. And another 1.000 pages of this flight regulation textbook. And then … ok, just kidding. Those are enough (for now).
I have several more of these in my library. You are all free to browse and read, as long as it’s open hour. You could also buy it from local store or borrow it from local or royal library. And btw, you couldn’t take one of mine home. Read it here, or not at all.

* Writer: Make your own summary about the principle of flight. No copy + pasting from Wikipedia or other sources but I suggest you read principles of flight from actual sources first before making this piece. I don’t want to read too smart or too descriptive text. I want your version of what is flying.
* Artist: Draw your character reading those large textbooks in a library or choosing/buying the book in a bookstore. He/she could do well in the study or not so then he/she’s sleeping while studying. Rough line-art allowed, but no sketch. BG is a must. Draw lots of book since you are in library or book store. Remember that you are in steam-punk themed city.

Quest 3: Meteorology
In meteorology, you will study how to forecast weather, how weather works, and weather impact on air traffic management, scientifically. This is also important for pilots because you have to plan your own flight and weather impact on your plane.
Other than the theory itself, you all will also learn how to use all these meteorology equipments. There are many things that could be measured from weather; humidity, wind speed, rain density, and so on.
Surprised? Tehehehe… do you think aviation is all about flying an aircraft?

* Writer: Write your character among several other students (could be fictional or other player) studying or using meteorology equipments. Or your characters could be sleeping because he/she’s not used to studying while Fraulien is behind your character, angered. Or your character (or other person) could accidentally blow up one of the equipments, taking several people out, with Fraulien frantically trying to put off the fire/damage you’ve (or the other person) done.

Or your character (or other person) could accidentally blow up one of the equipments, taking several people out, with Fraulien frantically trying to put off the fire/damage you’ve (or the other person) done. Minimal BG, full color

Quest 4: Radio Communication
Radio is the transmission of signals by modulation of electromagnetic waves with frequencies below those of visible light. The electromagnetic radiation travels by means of oscillating electromagnetic fields that pass through the air and the vacuum of space. That means thanks to this new device, we could communicate with other planes beyond our visual range, or contacting our airbases anytime anywhere.
You’re lucky since current technology has enabled us to transmit images and audios over great distance. In the old days, we only could transmit a beep-beep sound over the radio. What’s with that look, how young do you think I am? Well, anyway, while we’re at this, why don’t we also learn a more traditional way of communication too, like this Morse code? Who knows when will your radio get jammed or broken?

* Writer: Write your character trying to use the radio. Your character could be flustered or angry to the person he/she’s talking with since that person swearing/cursing all the time, or even trying to hit your character. Also draw several other characters (could be fictional, other player, or even Fraulien herself) standing around the radio, watching your character messing with the radio. Or instead of using the radio, you could draw your character reading a paper with lots of lines and dots (Morse code) on it, and someone is trying hard to decipher it (or switch the role).

Or instead of using the radio, you could draw your character reading a paper with lots of lines and dots (Morse code) on it, and someone is trying hard to decipher it (or switch the role). Minimal BG, full color.

Quest 5: Navigation
Where are you right now and where are you going? Perhaps you could answer that easily if you are in a high place and traveling on foot. Unfortunately, with speed of couple of hundreds kilometers per hour, everything start to look just the same up there. So it’s important for you to have a navigation skill.
Navigation is the process of reading, and controlling the movement of a craft one place to another. There are lots of navigational techniques, but all of them involve locating your position compared to known locations or patterns.
Obviously, in all aircraft, you have more than enough navigation equipments on the flight panels. So you don’t have to peek from your aircraft canopy to look at the stars or other landmarks. But still you have to learn how to use it.

* Writer: Describe your character trying to determine his/her position using one or more methods of aircraft navigation technique and equipments used on-board a mock-up aircraft (the mock-up aircraft is placed inside the classroom). He/she could eventually succeeded or failed in determining the position. You may create an original technique or equipments (but it must make sense, not a complete BS). Be creative and remember the steam-punk theme (no GPS).
* Artist: Draw your character looking at navigational equipments on-board your aircraft cockpit (the flight instruments have to be clearly visible). It’s easier if the picture is taken from your character POV, so only your character’s hands and legs that visible. Or you also could draw your character is looking out from an airplane, looking for starts or any visible landmark, only to realize that he/she is boarding an aircraft mockup in a classroom. BG is a must, line-art allowed, no sketch.

Quest 6: Medical Certification
Remember when you first got here and I checked your body for physical flight? Flying demands a fit physical condition, so we never know when anyone onboard will get sick. And you couldn’t exactly call for a doctor when you’re up there in the middle of nowhere. So a good pilot must be able to conduct a medical attention to anyone, including him/herself.
There are three classes of medical certification; each is higher than the others and obviously harder to get too. And don’t forget you have to renew these certifications every year. As an official master of aviation, I’m given a privilege to examine and issue the Third Class Medical Certificate. So you study well, pass my test, and I will give you a Third Class Medical Certificate as a bonus… free of charge.
Btw, if you want a Second or First Class Medical Certificate, you must take the test directly from the Veratus Aviation Authority (VAA).

* Writer: Draw your character diagnosing/examining other student (could be fictional or other player) as one of the test for this certification (please remember the PG-13 rating). Or you could examine Fraulien herself when there are not enough students to pair up (the total number of student is odd), remember that Fraulien is a cheerful and playful person. Perhaps you could try to ask the prettiest girl/hottest guy in the class to be your “patient” (and you could be successful or failed in asking him/her). Or have a fight over that person with another student.

Quest 7: Human Factor
Aviation isn’t all about the aircraft, but it’s also about THE human. And the study is called Human Factor. Remember when you’re all learning navigation equipments on the aircraft flight instruments. Thanks to human factor study, we have standardized the instruments type and location so you won’t have to memorize each and every aircraft flight instruments one by one. Well, enough of that really, let the experts think about hard things like that and we will focus on the easy part, the aircraft.
What we will focus to learn in this course is how human factor is the cause of many fatal flying accidents… like crashing your plane to a mountain or trying to land without lowering the landing gear. Since we couldn’t exactly go out there and have you crash a plane, we’ll use a simulator instead.
Yup, I have one in this school. Now perhaps you know why the tuition fee is so expensive… Because we have one of the biggest and most expensive video game with a very very big projection display.

* Writer: Write in detail, starting from your character entering the simulation chamber, seeing and using the simulator at the first time, how their senses suddenly changes and tensed up when flying, starting to make mistakes and finally crash the plane in the simulation. Or perhaps your character will try to bail out, forgetting that it’s all just a simulation. And that your character gets out from the simulator, he/she feels very exhausted. Depending on how you performed, Fraulien may praise or scold you. Perhaps giving you a hug if your character is moe enough ^_^
* Artist: Draw a strip or 4koma depicting your character doing any (or several or all) of these activities: Entering simulation chamber, seeing the simulator at the first time, using the simulator, piloting it, and/or crashing in the simulation. Make it interesting or (preferably) comedic situation. You could screw up and crash in the simulation, or even try to bail out forgetting that it’s all just a simulation. Depending on how you performed, Fraulien may praise or scold you. Perhaps giving you a hug if your character is moe enough ^_^ You could change the ending into where your character really loved the simulation and don’t want to switch with the next person. It’s up to you. Minimal to no BG, black & white/tone/full color.

Quest 8: Basic Maneuvers
This is the first time you’re going out there, using a real aircraft. How’s your feeling? Excited? Nervous? A little bit nausea? Awww, so cute… (hug the moest girl in the class). Ahem… OK, get ready. Wear your normal suit, helmet, goggles, gloves, and boots... Oh, and don’t forget to bring your parachute, we never knows when I suddenly throw you out of the cockpit. Hahaha… just kidding.

Since you’re still a “kid”, yeah, your nicknames are going to be “kid” since I don’t want to give a proper nickname to even-less-than-a-newbie like you all. Also I will be your co-pilot… for each one of you. So you all will take turns since there’s only one of me. It’s so that I can instruct and watch you closely.

In this lesson, you only need to fly this baby, and let me take care the take-off and the landing. Next, watch me do all kind of basic maneuvers, which is pitch, yaw, and roll. After you get the feeling, I will let go the controls and it’s your turn. Simple, right? Just like people always say, it’s like riding a bicycle… although you don’t want to fall when riding this one. If you mess up and feel can’t continue anymore, just let go off the control and I will take over from there.

* Writer: Write your character first impression when entering the changing room and trying to wear the normal suit. Perhaps he/she will think how messy the room is, and how the master should keep the room tidier. And perhaps he/she will think how stink the normal suit is, and tell him/herself that he/she will definitely buy his/her own normal suit later. Be expressive since I want to know your character’s emotions and thoughts.
* Artist: Draw your character wearing (or in the process of wearing, but remember the PG-13 rating) a normal suit for pilot. You could design your own normal suit (remember the steam-punk theme) or you could use normal suits similar to Fraulien’s (look at her pics if you want). Draw some background, preferably in the changing room, which means it will be messy will lots of stuff is laying around. BG is a must, line-art allowed, no sketch.

Quest 9: Take-off and Landing
This is your second field training, also in real aircraft. Be warned that this is the last lesson since the next time we meet, it will be the practical test. So pay attention and if you have any question, now is your chance. No question? Alright, get ready and I’ll wait for you at the hangar.
This time we’re going to focus only on taking-off and landing the plane. You already know the basic maneuver so this one should be a breeze, is that what you think? Too bad, you’re completely wrong about that. Actually, landing is even harder than just flying the plane. Wind speed, runway condition, even a mere single flock of bird could bring down Veratus’ biggest aircraft. Of course you can’t bail out and your plane every time you fly, so be sure to master this lesson, OK?

* Writer: Write the process of how taking-off and landing an aircraft. Write in great detail likes what lever to pull and what button to press. Fictional is enough, you can make-up everything like the buttons or the lever. Just be sure to make it believable.
* Artist: Draw a Veratus landscape from a far with airbase in the lower right and the right side is an open sky. In that picture, draw several checkpoints on where you think are important steps on taking-off and landing process. Include arrows to show the direction of your airplane in those checkpoints. Also write a brief description of what-to-do on those checkpoints. BG is a must, full-color.

Quest 10: Practical Test
Finally… this is the real thing. Succeed or crash-and-burn, it’s all up to you. Are you ready? Feeling excited? Feeling nervous? Awww, so cute … (hug the moest girl in the class). Tehehehe, sorry, bad habit dies hard. Get ready now, I will be waiting at the hangar.
As usual, I will be your co-pilot. This time your job is to fly this plane to check point Alpha, indicated in your map that you just got several moments ago. After reaching the coordinates, circle around once, and then land the plane again here, and park it inside the hangar pointed out by the air control tower. Since this is the final test, I will not help you at all. So if you do any mistake, I won’t point it to you like before. Except when you’re making serious mistakes that could kill both of us, I will take over for a moment and then you could continue the test.
If you succeed on this test, I will issue your Private Pilot License and Graduation Certificate. I will hold a graduation party tonight! So I really hope each one of you could join the party… if you know what I mean?

* Writer: Write a journal or diary that your character wrote. It summed up all his/her training from Quest 1 to 9. Also how your character felt the day before the final practical test, things that he/she must prepare in order to pass the test successfully. Describe every activity your character did the night before the test. Perhaps he/she will get nervous and can’t sleep, so he/she read books until daybreak (and late to the test). Or perhaps your character will goofing around, go to the nightclub and have fun. Or perhaps your character will get involved in a fight (with a drunk) and get jailed, and then Fraulien will bail you out and chew on you afterward.
* Artist: Draw several pages comic/manga (no 4-koma). Draw starting from taking-off until your character park the plane back to the hangar. You could add some problem that may arise during the flight. Perhaps your character messed up and almost crashes into a mountain but saved by Fraulien. Or perhaps the plane encounters a monster and has to make a run for it. Whatever you could think of. Minimal BG, tone/full-color.
Yay! Thank you everyone! Now I got 1.000 page views >_</b

Just like the title said, I want to celebrate this "little thing". Anything you want me to do ... I mean draw?

Perhaps you will think this is just a small thing, considering that most of my watchers have more than 10.000 pv. But for me this is a big thing... my very first 1.000 pv. To be honest, I've never think I've ever get triple digit of zeros in my pv.

I want to celebrate this special event. But since I don't have a pool feature (yet), I guess a journal would have to do. So, for my 1.000 page views, what do you want me to do?
1. Making pictures of all my OC character that have appeared in my gallery (I hope I could do it since RSP have too many members).
2. Making a fan art of your choice (tell me who should I draw). Could be another deviant OC or some characters from a certain anime/manga, preferably a girl.
3. Making an *cough* ecchi *cough* picture. Believe it or not, I've made several of that kind of picture. It's just I never post them here (yet).
4. Other. Any suggestion is gladly welcomed.

You could comment/reply on this journal and write the number of your choice (or suggestion if you pick number 4). Once again, thank you!

----------------------------------------------
Edit: Since the title seems misleading, I change it since I didn't get any response.
I've been so busy in March that I didn't make any art that month. The reason is because I participate in NaNoRenO 2010. It's an event where you make a game in one month and release it. You could submit the game as long as it's a Visual Novel (more commonly known as Adventure game).

R.S.P is the result of my hard work in that one month. Now it's in version 1.1 (version 1.0 has a bug where you couldn't lose at all). R.S.P stands for Rock Scissors Paper, in case you don't know. Yes, it's a traditional game that I'm pretty sure everyone has played it at least once. RSP has lots of variation all over the world. Japanese knows Jan-Ken-Po while my country knows Human-Ant-Elephant.

All the art, story, script, and so on (except for the music which I take from Game Maker Library) are made by me. So I hope you could enjoy at least the art and the story. Oh, and I use RenPy Visual Novel Engine to make the game.

Here's the link -> lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/view…

But beware though, since this game is 18+. I've warned you! This game contains lots of nudity and some sexually suggestive dialogue, though there is absolutely no sex scene (meaning that this is not an H-game). And I think you have to register to browse in this forum.

You also could use the Megaupload link if you want...
Windows link -> www.megaupload.com/?d=LHMUU2R8
Mac link -> www.megaupload.com/?d=EZXNH5DA
Linux link -> www.megaupload.com/?d=YL0Y74F0

Well, I hope you could enjoy the game ^_^
