Modeled in 3dsmax, rendered in Corona renderer.

3D model of a classic, soft Phrygian-style witch's hat.  It can be used as a standalone prop, or clothing prop for existing character models.  This model consists of 12,546 polygons and 12,618 vertices, and 100% quad topology. The model is UV Unwrapped, and comes with all the necessary texture maps for color (diffuse), specular (reflection), glossy (blurry reflection), and bump channels at 2048x2048 pixel resolution.  There are also special tangent normal maps for added render detail.  I recommend using the normal map for the skullband object especially. Custom seamless procedural materials will work fine on both sub-objects as well.

You are free to use or modify this model as you see fit, for your own rendering projects or scenes. As with all my freebies, the object can be used for both commercial and non-commercial renders. You may NOT, however, resell or redistribute the model or textures, or any derivative of them; individually, or as part of a package/set.

Alternatively, you can also find and download this model from the following resource locations, including additional renders and wire-frame previews:
ShareCG.com
Turbosquid.com

*** OBJ IMPORT INSTRUCTIONS: There are 3 different OBJ files associated with this model, and one MTL file, which defines the texture placement.  You will notice that two of the three OBJ files are labeled for use in specific software applications (Poser and Blender).  For best results, it's highly recommended that you import the correct file to the corresponding software application.

I just downloaded this, followed the read me and boom it worked flawlessly! Thanks so much!
Question: can i save this as a material preset or do i have to manually import it every time i want to use it?
Thanks :)

Hi.  Thank you so much for using the prop.  I'm sure there's a way to save it for use later in different scenes, but it will depend on which software you used it with.  Let me know which software you are using, and I'll try to help you to set that up if I can.

I'm using Daz Studio 4.9 pro. It's not a huge problem manually loading it every time I want to use it. Just thought there could be an easier way :)

I plan on eventually packaging props in native Daz Studio format for easier use in that platform, but currently, you should be able to save the item as a prop once it's loaded into a scene.  I'm not a regular user of Daz Studio, although I do have it installed to test my products.  After a quick search, I found this video on Youtube which may help you with this process:

Amazing how brazenly open these people are about content theft!  It's shocking, and I can't believe Second Life is so saturated with this kind of thing.
Respectfoul Second Life residents are trying to hunt down and remove as much of ilegaly used content as possible, reporting thifs to original IP holders so legal actions can be taken! Linden Labs unfortunatly acts only on DMCA takedown notices sent thru regular mail or fax so coresponding with them if they need further proof of content IP ownership is close to impossibile. Tha is  if you dont directly ask for any further comunication to be thru email! Only good thing about theifs in Second Life is they are stupid and give proof of theft in plane sight! They are persistant but if we also stay persistant they will give up in end! Many we hunted down already gave up totaly or ended up in RL court becouse they wore stupid enough to counter DMCA! And that didnt go well for them!

I do accept requests, but I have a lot of models in the works now, so I might not get to it for a while.  Send me a note with the details, and I'll get back to you.  Thanks!
