Storm Summoner

For those that don't know, this is Daigo the demon stag. Summoner of storms and shadow demon as well, he is a spirit of darkness and mystery. He can summon storms at will, making them any strength that he possibly pleases. Lightning can emit from his glow-tipped antlers, and he can completely melt away into the darkness if he feels that he needs to.

I've made a few changes to this guy. [link] Originally, he was just a shadow demon, but now he has the element of storm and weather. Also, his hooves have changed a bit as well. First he had solid hooves like those of a horse that glowed on the edges, but now his hooves are made of shadows. No glow can be seen and his apparent hooves are replaced by creeping tendrils of darkness.
His antlers still glow at the tips and he can emit bolts of powerful lightning from the glowing tips. The lightning will always be bluish in colour, like his markings and eyes. Also, there will usually be a small and faint ball of lightning between the two tines that curve inward.((not shown here)).
Also, the backs of his limbs and his underbelly are a little more shadowy than the rest of him. They always seem to have a slight pull and fade off slightly. The edges of his body that are not shadowed usually sport a faint but visible glow, which can be hide at will. The shadows are always black and the glow, markings, lightning, and eyes are always electric blue.

Although Daigo is a demon, and a shadow one at that, he doesn't have the usual angry and evil temperment. He tends to be quiet, mysterious and antisocial. Though when provoked he can get quite angry and dangerous.

Another little quirk of this guy is that he can completely melt into the darkness as he pleases. His 'hooves' are always shrouded in darkness and shadows, and they start the melting process. From the feet up, he can dematerialize and slip away into the darkness. His glow fades and disappears when he does this.

Okay, now about the image. I made a promise to myself that I would draw this character more so I would become even more attached to him. To support his background and story, I drew him in a storm that he could have created. Standing atop a hill with a lone old, gnarled tree must be something he likes to do during a storm, I guess.
I'm pretty pleased with this overall, I think. The clouds could have been worked on a bit more, but meh, good enough.
