Time Travel

Time Travel is yet again inspired by some of my favorite elements, vintage maps, the compass and old world romance where explorers sail into the unknown onto a journey of lifetime discoveries.

This mixed media handbound journal is decorated with painting techniques, image transfers and copyrighted designs. The focal an image transfer of a compass©, a rusted washer and a salvage gear from an antique clock. The page marker is made up of a brass chain and ends with a blank brass plate**. The artwork is then aged and distressed. The covers are finished with several coats of satin varnish to protect the artwork.

* This journal comes in a sturdy and beautifully made box.
** For this journal, I have thrown in a little extra in the form of a blank brass plate at the end of the page marker. I can stamp a word, name, initials of your choice. The brass plate allows a maximum of 4 alphabets.
