Description
I call this a rough guide because
made the cardboard shield already and it's based off this tutorial [link] , so any measurements are the same as that tutorial. There are a few differences such as using self-adhesive vinyl (because we couldn't find red or blue duct tape), and using hosepipe instead of rope.
I would like to stress that the duct tape should always be taut! If it is slack then you will have a weak pancake of a shield. You will be surprised how durable a bit of duct tape can make it!! Ours is still in shape after being flung around and rolled on top of
Also, I'd like to thank the person who made that tutorial because we wouldn't have such an awesome shield without it! My dad who also made it possible (cutting hosepipe should not be attempted on your own!),
again for starting it off, and finally the knights
,
,
,
for cosplaying the Avengers with me :3
Here's the shield in action! [link]
I can't think of anything else to mention, if you have any queries don't hesitate to comment!
P.S I spelt taut wrong ;___; My life is over D:
