Anita - Custom Breyer Deer

I’ve officially completed my first custom of 2020! Anita (for “Amanita”, of course!) is the Breyer doe that I’ve turned into a portrait of a Columbian black-tailed deer. On her back she carries a small bit of forest floor with Amanita muscaria mushrooms, assorted lichens, and both model and real moss. She’s been repainted in earth pigments and acrylics, and is meant for display (she’s too fragile to be a toy.)
