First of all, I feel very awkward and embarrassed writing this journal. I was delaying it for a long time now, hoping to find another solution to my problems, but with the new year I came to the conclusion, that I shouldn't wait any longer.
The thing is, I'd love to start doing commissions - sell digital art as well as various handcrafts (like crochet, small sculptures and ornaments), but it's quite difficult to come back to DeviantArt after a very long time of just... lurking. I'm aware that I need to be consistent with new uploads and examples, but at the same time, my financial, health, and even family situation is... bad. It's hard to speak about it, so I'll rather spare you the details (I also don't think that anyone likes huge walls of text).
I must admit, I was a bit worried and demotivated when all of my newer pieces went totally unnoticed after the submission - literally 0 views, like they didn't appear anywhere (years ago when I was active this never happened) but maybe this is some kind of DA's algorithm now? Maybe it's better to start a new account now? I really don't know.
So about the help... I would really, REALLY be grateful for any advice on how to revive my gallery (aside from just uploading art), or if you know anyone interested in commissions (digital paintings of animals, nature or fantasy creatures) and could spread the word. I'll do my best to upload more examples in the nearest future, I'm also thinking about a price chart but for now, I'd just gladly hear about any propositions or suggestions. It would really mean the world to me.
Thank you to anyone who stumbles upon this journal and decides to read it. Have a nice day (or night!).
